Jill’s Mad Beast is a random idea they thought of. And I always thought of wesker’s bomb drop as him catching the missile heading towards raccoon city and throwing it at you. Cause RE5 is lame. If they wanted an RE5 rep they should’ve put Boulder as a mini boss.

I know of the AE cab in schaumburg but i dont know when most people go, and dont feel like driving all the way over on a dead night. anyway hopefully i can meet some of you guys and we can play soon.

Check out the first post of this thread it has some info which is just slightly outdated.

For the most part everyone goes to Gameworks on Thursday Nights and people randomly show up on Fri / Sat but no where near as good as Thurs.

Also there is AreaXIII which holds bi weekly tournaments on Friday and is open every Tuesday. It has like 16 monitors with outlets so people can bring systems and have lots of setups going.

I also hold gatherings which are pretty popular so keep a look out for those.

I WILL BE HAVING A GATHERING THIS SATURDAY, it will be a all day / night sort of gathering cause it will start as early as Noon till 4 AM!!! Consider this a huge grind session and a time to chill out and hang out with everyone.

Lets get some drinks, some eats and play some games, whether it be 3s, alphas, ST, Poverty Games…to MvC3 and SSF4 it don’t matter just come have a good time. This will be my last gathering for a LONG TIME until I get my work situation handled. If you need to crash just hit me up and let me know ahead of time. Or if you come from a neighboring state and come from night prior. I definitely would love to see my old-school heads show up as well as any newcomer. Take care guys and lets make this a great weekend.

Also I would like if some of the burb guys would help out by picking up some of the City heads from the O’Hare CTA stop.

PLEASE BRING LAGLESS LCDS / SYSTEMS AND YOUR OWN STICK/PAD!!! If you do have some foldable chairs please bring some. Ill use just about every space I have for this so come have fun.

Money Matches are ENCOURAGED, id recommend $1 matches as even though it is cheap it definitely makes people play hard.

thursday, i believe they still do freeplay for 10 bucks on everything after 9pm

Well thats why you guys are posting here now, ask around if people in your area can help out or if you are on the way for them to scoop you up.

Also if anyone has any tools to open up an xbox my drive is jammed and wont open no matter what. So I havent been able to play MvC3 at all. Could use some assistance to get it open so i can get some practice in that Marvel.

GGA definitely has its own audience that it targets with free tournaments and Ill have to say that they are no where near good at any of the Fighting Games. If these guys were good they would be at the tournaments where people pay in order to test themselves. The prizes are definitely cool for freebies but I dont think it attracts many quality players but instead goes for the quantity approach. A GGA stream would just be begging to get trolled hard.
