Shuma’s Hyper Mystic Ray line should be buffed to:

“BEHOLD!! Hyper Mystic Ray!”

The short pause is only for Hyper Mystic Smash though :frowning:

And the way he says “Hypeeeer!” in Hyper Mystic Ray is way too good.

Zero should get more buffs :3

Justin Wong would like to have a word with you. Any character has the ability to be viable(Except Thor) in this game. Just put in the effort and if you really want to, you can make it happen.(Except Thor)

Also, give Zero’s buster his hard knockdown back. Soft knockdown blows…

Also, today a bunch of people on SRKlive were getting raped hard by some guy playing thor on point (including me ;_;).

Hsein-Ko? I’ve had my fair share of Hsein-Ko losses, so I don’t know if that says something about my skill or…you know what forget it.

and as for getting bodied by Thor, lol are we joking here? I’ve been playing since Vanilla launch and I’ve never met a single good Thor nor have I seen one in the competitive scene(Sorry Mike Ross). The only good Thor I have ever seen is from CrouchStrong who can actually apply the stuff you see in Thor’s combo videos in a real match. He really knows how the character works in and out.

Jump in and start a combo? Eat missiles followed by a Thor combo.

Start the combo, but stop in time to block missiles? Did almost no damage to Thor, and he gets a free mixup, and/or pressure.

Back away to avoid missiles entirely? Moar missiles from long distance to allow safe approach by thor. Situation resets, except this time, by the time he reaches me I have no time to even TRY to counter whatever the hell Thor decides to do.

Punish the assist? Eat punish combo by Thor. And you have to do it right away, because if even a single missile gets out, you’ll be forced to reverse any offense you’ve started and end up eating that pressure again.

Hyper combo? Why yes, that’s perfect! EXCEPT I HAVE NO METER BECAUSE I CAN’T LAND A DECENT COMBO ON THE DAMN GUY. I get to do this once, maybe twice, and I have no real way to follow up.

And you’d think this would be the same with all characters… But the difference is that the fucker is JUMPING EVERYWHERE and doing that move that ENCASES HIM WITH LIGHTNING ALL THE TIME. I can’t try to grab him, or I get hit out. Even if I did try to use some large normal to hit him out of it, it’d be the same problem as before, as I’d have to drop the combo just to not get hit by the incoming missiles. Triangle Dashing in with an attack only rarely gets a hit, but usually we just end up dancing around each other like idiots, but his advantage being the periodic bombardment of missiles that comes my way. You’d think zoning would work, but it only does so well… If he even gets one missile out, he gets a free approach.

I just don’t know what to do. D=

Okay… after skipping through some obvious jokes, I just came in to say some ideas that sound good for certain characters.

I was thinking they could give Haggar a projectile. Kinda like in Final Fight 3, where you could throw your pipe. That would be interesting, considering he has no projectiles, and that he is a grappler

A buff to Hsien-ko would be that, in Anki-Hou, if you throw an specific item, the next item you throw would cause a stun effect (like in Darkstalkers), and that would make this move much more useful.

For Arthur, a dash should be there, and I think his Super Armor, when it runs out of time, it should cause a soft knockdown. Really, a hard knockdown really hurts when you’re fighting characters with fast dashes. But I’m pretty satisfied with the buffs they gave to him, not the best ones, but they help. His health buff is not so big, but it’s still something.

I’m motivated!

it was in the earlier build of the game i swear i saw it he could otg with formation b then LEGION he does crap damage anyways i dont see why its a bad thing compared to other characters

Oh yeah, Jill needs some sort of OTG move besides that stupid knee hump thing and her super. Why doesn’t the knee slam down thing OTG? It does in Resident Evil lol. Make it hit OTG and cause a ground bounce, they can flip out immediately if the bounce has been used already I don’t care. I hate using Wesker, but I need that assist.

I remember Jill being described as an acrobatic gun user before she was released, and once I got her I realized that was only barely true. It’s like calling Hulk a Space Explorer because one of his Hypers involves an asteroid or something similar.

LMAO for some reason I read that as ‘alcoholic gun user.’ Which would actually sense, seeing as how she sprays bullets everywhere. Target sighted my ass…

I want hard knockdown removed after Gold Armor runs out and a good ground dash for Arthur. That’d make him really good.
