Fighting Games continue to have a following with the help of online communities.
Arcades rarely utilize this tool, and I think it would at least help a bit.
The arcade downstairs from the Sports Bar I work at has some decent games, but most don’t know about it. A bit of online advertising, tournaments, and user feedback would go a long way.
And yeah $1.00 for a credit is the biggest mistake so many make. 0.25 or 0.50 is the magic number. I always find myself spending so much more when it’s a couple quarters.
Wonder where the arcade went? Blame online consoles, oh I guess also America for shitty regulations, and the fact arcades aren’t profitable and arcade manufacturers really don’t give a shit about arcades outside of asia.
