Thanks for the welcome…yeah I realize that the show is not 100 percent historically accurate, one being Nuckys last name being Thompson when it was really Johnson, just wanted to point out that when someone is referred to as the Black Hand it is just referring to the act of extorting someone which usually is associated with the mob. The actual Black Hand gang went to jail or were wacked by the time Masseria(and by Masseria) took power in NYC.

Sorry didn’t feel the need to link my “history notes” and after going through this thread it seems like no one does except yourself one time when referencing Mickey’s character. It also seems like you might not have all the “facts” when talking about the rise of organized crime and the national crime syndicate or “the Commission”( not the start of the Mafia as you put it) in the US. For one Torrio doesn’t get killed and then Capone takes over. Torrio gets shot and critically wounded, which scares the shit out of him and then he retires to Italy with his family leaving The Outfit to Capone. Also Torrio was actually the person who gave Luciano the idea of creating the Commission in the first place. This doesn’t happen till years later than what we are seeing now(1923). We prob won’t see Capone and Luciano’s rise to power for another couple seasons, till after the Masseria/Marranzano(1931) and the North/South Chicago(1925) wars. This is all of course if the writers follow the actual history closer. We may see the next season take place a couple of years after this one like season 3 was to season 2.
Don’t mean to be rude but I’m a big history buff, especially that of the history of La Costra Nostra. And if you want references just google it.

biggest turn off was Danziger riding van Alden. the way she was saying “daddy” was the same way Gillian was saying “baby.”

im still tryin to figure out the harrow story path… thats losing me. unless he is trying to have a family of his own
people liked harrow so theyre trying to give him some screen time but dont really have anything for him to do. maybe gillian gets busted for the murder or killed and harrow has to raise the boy.

Harrow is the perfect balance between being a soldier and a gentleman. Probably the only decent male character on the show. I think they’re trying to give Richard a happy ending and setting up Gillian’s demise in the process.
