That is what I heard. I am OK with the directors cut, but I still think it is bullshit that they release several versions of what is essentially the same fucking movie. The extended version must be 6 hours long.

picked up… kill bill vol 1 and 2, big trouble in little china, sunshine and hulk vs.
all in all, amazing quality on them all

Hey, have any of you guys seen this?

Blu-ray.com doesn’t have a review yet, but if it’s almost on par with Planet Earth and focusing mostly on aquatic life, I might want to buy it. The only thing is I saw Wild Pacific on Discovery Channel recently, and it kind of sucks.

So after this weekend I FINALLY foudn a reason to get a Blu-Ray player (Ip Man). Starting from scratch…

  1. with the price drop of the PS3, does it make sense to ge one as a Blu-Ray player despite not really planning on getting any games?
  2. Best bang for buck player?
  3. Best place for ordering BDs? Especially the kung-fu ones…I’ll delve into the thread when I ahve some real time to.

I would suggest just getting the PS3…and a remote.

Most Bluray players are around the same price as a PS3, but if you think about it…the PS3 has more features:

Play PS3 games…you may not want ot but PS3 games, but you have it just in case a game that interest you is on PS3, you don’t have to buy one.
Access to PSN.

I bought my friend one for his wedding, and all they do is watch bluray movies and browse the internet on there.
