#19: Jump HP, close s.HP (cancels) HK Knee Press (dummy is now in juggle state)

Also I would appreciate some Guile > tag > Bison combos, I just want a heads up b/c I’m playing a blind tournament tomorrow hopefully these players don’t have a clue about the game! lol
is it only the HK Knee press that juggles them? Can you juggle with MK knee press?
Its just shows that Im getting old when people are asking what “Paint the fence” means.

testing post MK/HK scissors corner juggles, the best meterless one I found was cLP, sMP(close), sHPxxHP Crusher. The normals have to be during the juggle, not chained.
Been using Bison + Heihachi … I feel like Bison/Raven could be good, too, but I haven’t spent much time on Raven.
I don’t feel like Bison has that much going for him in SFxT, but his s.MK s.HK chain is sooo good. Great for confirming launch into a high-damage char like Heihachi.
Mmm, I had that feeling too, but I’ll give him a little while before I decide. Does Bison have an overhead? With the nerfed throws in this game, I’m trying to understand how he (or anybody without a linkable overhead) is supposed to open people up.
No overhead. I don’t want to start the whine parade yet, though. Personally, I’m gonna hit some tournaments/sessions before I try to draw any conclusions.
Has anyone tried teleport->super? I was thinking it would be easier in this game because of the easier input. I used to catch people all the time in the corner by doing that in 4. Either that or do an empty devil’s reverse and throw them a couple times to train them into thinking a throw is coming, then maybe on the 2nd or 3rd time do an empty devil’s reverse into super. Someone should try teleporting behind into super.
huh? throws still do damage. I mean it’s a tactical move to say I’m going to block and not push buttons because I’d rather eat a throw than a counter hit. There will be more to oki than a 50/50 block or tech on knockdown, but even this is enough to open people up.
I am seeing this playing like cvs2 like people have been saying at least in terms of flow of matches and overall speed/feel.
linking from close s.MK to far s.MK isn’t that hard, with meter you can do close s.MK, far s.MK, s. HP xx EX Psycho / EX Knee / Knee Press Nightmare. Not hard to hit confirm

anyone start working on dash cancelling tech with scissors? like in the intro video to Bison’s first gameplay, we see him tagged in and he does standing fierce xx scissors dash cancel, crouching short, standing close fierce xx cross ultra or whatever the fuck its called.
wonder what practical applications there are and how much frame advantage we can get off a meaty normal dash cancelled? like would it be practical to do a string like cr. short, cr.short, cr.strong xx knee press xx dash cancel into more pressure?
well, going to pick up my copy guys! let you all know if I find anything special. I’ll be trying out team synergy with Rolento seems like I’ll have to force the fit since they play a bit too similarly…for me it’s just a character choice but hopefully it’ll yield some interesting new combos.
