as for the best sagat I played against has to be somuchdamage, but it’s really hard to say who’s the best cuz mirror match sagat any1 can win, so based on my mirror match experience somuch, el, mosh ect… But I did play few other sagat that actaully gave me alot alot harder time than names mention here. But that means nothing
It really comes down to who’s more comfortable in different character match ups, which is shows who’s really the best
plus online is full of bullshit, people can get away with random stuff, I admit it can work on my own favor many times but most of the time it’s bs, like for example: AA jump ins becomes alot harder, you almost to imput TU notation way ahead so you won’t get stuffed
I say join tourny and consistantly do good, somuchdamage is by far best at that, not here to nutswing but yea that’s fact

Im going to add my vote as well and that would be for moshtaba as best psn Sagat. Just got done playn him he only has 50xx bp but that goes to show bp dnt mean shit ahem iambomambo :tdown:. I almost got a couple rnds off him, yes rnds, and im decent but hes on diff level. GGs mosh.
I need a character to main, I’m comming from tekken, learned the stick, picked up juri…and have an ok ryu. Im considering sagat. My problem is zoning, not sure if sagat is a worthy character to pick up do to my lack of skill. Ryu is more linear and jabs are a little quicker. What are the downsides to sagat ( from a tourny player point of view )
btw Ive played here in miami against Arturo Sanchez’s rose and Flash Metroids viper at a small tourny, so I am really intersted in learning the game to have fun and compete. I gave a few guys a run for their money with Juri, but again, I’m comming over from Tekken and need to learn more defense, frame data tactics ect… learned the stick 2 months ago and I’m fairly decent with it (FADC into ultras with ryu which is the best I can do for now) really trying to pick a main (sagat , ryu, ruffus…(but juri bleeds alot before I know it i’m dead so I’ll keep her distant 3rd) just not sure who to dedicated time to but I love sagat but tempted to dedicate time to rufus…) sorry for my rant…thanks
