It’s just text on a screen unless somone gives them a chance to beast
similar idea to what dog-face had goin on, put all of the beasts in a multiple game tourney make it a huge pot. Why not?

Wow. I’ve never seen any CvS2 match with him in it, and those are the only match vids I watched all last year. Does he have an alias or anything?

^^^ill bite
im really good at
cvs2
good at
mvc2
3s
jojo,ggxx,monster,alpha’s,mortal kombats
ok at
other marvel vs…ect
lastblade, kof, pretty much any snk game ive gotten good eough where my general skills can carry me.
tekken’s
suck but can kinda hang
q2, ssbm, halo, cs, samurai showdown
I’m going to have to see Justin. He plays a lot of things, if not everything, and if he plays it he plays it well.
Im the best!!! End of thread! ^.^
I nominate myself overall for SNK if JeRon is gonna close the thread on that note
<-------Best in the West Coast :smokin:
I nominate Albert “Pookie” Nguyen.
He’s pretty much the shit at all those games, and he doesn’t even practice. He has the most potential to be great at those games like justin/ricardo/Peter.
Top 8 in cvs2/marvel at evo east.
2nd place in 3rd strike last ecc.
get this guy a muzzle.
P.S. I’ve seen this thread a bunch of times, and like I’ve said before, I think Jal deserves a legitimate shot to compete if this goes down.
No one’s said Arturo yet huh? That kid’s pretty damn good in just about any game he picks up.
Also.
Not quite true.
Justin - Marvelous
Sanford - The President!
Alex - Calipower
Ricky - Hello Kitty
you noticed that sanford said that he’s top 5. he never said that he’s better / worse than any of the top five players. now, if you named five players better than him, you’d prove him wrong, but you mentioned one. that still makes him top five.
anyway…
Justin Wong - MvC2, CvS2, 3S, ST, KoF, Tekken
Valle - Old school everything and 3S
Sanford Kelly - MvC2, CvS2, Tekken, ST (I’ve heard about him playing, although I don’t think he’s competed in ST)
Ricky - CvS2, MvC2, 3S
Combofiend - MvC2, CvS2
Watson - ST / 3S
Choi - 3S / Alpha
Those are from what I’ve seen. I’ve never seen these players top out in other games. Most of these players are also pretty strong in other games as well. I heard that Sanford is a beast in GG, and Valle’s decent in Marvel.
That’s my tiers for overall players.
Wong by far. First and most important, the hardest thing on fighting game tournaments is to win at Marvel. Sanford plays Wong all the time and can manage it. The other top players in the world can’t even bother Wong in this game, and they never could. Even Valle and Ricky themselves practicing it as its main game in the early years were destroyed by Wong.
Dark Geese and Jeron do place in a lot of more obscure games. But its much easier to be the US champ in 5 or 10 SNK games than to make top 5 at Marvel or even 3rd Strike at Evo. I don’t think anybody will disagree with that. Justin himself places in SNK games without knowing all the characters.
As for 3rd Strike, nobody in the US came even close to do what Justin did at Evo. He took team Japan out of the Winners Bracket by himself, and he doesn’t even practice the game (no comp). He also placed higher than any korean or japanese at T5, and Wong is a Marvel player for god’s sake.
Taking A2 out of Sirlin, winning at SNK games, tourneys for A3, ST, Puzzle Fighter, SNK games, winning money matches in all kinds of random games, winning more money and titles than probably all the others combined… There is no way we can vote on anybody else here. Too strong.
The other guys are surely up there, but not really competing for first. And I also don’t think Combofiend, although very good, is in the same league as the others mentioned.
Either Jeron or Justin. These guys play everything well, even shaqfu lol.
everyone be sleepin on combofiend this year
Arguably. But it’s pretty clear that he means; the only top player who is more well known through his callsign.
US: hands down justin wong
japan: daigo umehara
I’d say Nuki = Daigo in terms of being able to own across games.
Daigo is powerhouse in ST and can hang in GG but Nuki can play AND hang in VF, which is like godly. I mean Nuki plays fucking Aoi, jesus christ.
Otherwise I say Justin/Sanford. Cause they can pwn in a vast majority of both 2d and 3d (well… really tekken).
PS: none of the top US players play VF… boooo
Michael Jordan
does this include smash?
i say…
let’s stop riding top players’ dicks.
