As mentioned I’ll be out of town at Canada Cup until Monday night, so unless anyone I gotta play is at the event and there’s an XB360 SG setup, I can’t play.
If that means I break any time limits on playing matches, consider it a forfeit. I hope it won’t be that though.
if the last one was anything to go by i assume that we ll need about 2 weeks to allow people time to play matches so i wouldnt worry about it too much.
i thought about bringing my xbox with me for casuals but i dont have a monitor to bring and would rather not be having to baby sit my console for hours on end etc to make sure no one nicks it or something.

whatever you want really. i think most people have done ft5. it only matters who wins the match for the points so you can play as much as you want though.

It feels like people just completely stopped caring for this tournament… shame.

The problem was the time scale, you can’t reliably hold a tournament over a time span of multiple weeks. Next time we should set a specific date / time and whoever doesn’t show doesn’t show. I’m all for a more regular Skullgirls Online Ranbat after the patch hits, no restrictions on team setups, and just do that.
that has been done before though and the numbers were totally dire for that as well. people either forgetting or werent able to compete due to the day it was on.
Just hold a weekly thing, make it the same exact time each week lasting oh say 3-4 hours depending on how many are participating.
People will drop, but others will stay, it will be kinda random but it is what it is… Even at wnf when we all had to sign up to go and we all knew alex personally, some woudnt show up cause other emergencies/not feeling well/ mom/ wifey getting irate take precedence.
Just make it weekly, and use this thread to setup specific matches. It is alot better if everyone knows they need to set tuesday 7-12 away for skullgirls… It will get more people online at one time and thusly hopefully grow at least the online scene… Like an online arcade or somesuch.
