of the 6 matches i have played so far, ive had only 1 that was unplayable (he was in europe) and another where lag was causing a few hiccups. obviously this will vary depending on where you are, but one of my matches had a ping of about 130 (or it could have been 180 even) and it was actually silky smooth. i was shocked.
it has been great to get many games in against new people though. Also Qetzl i need to play you more. 28 ping is too good to ignore!
So is it this entire round robin or this week that’s teams only?
this RR as far as i know. it was intended there would be seperate RRs for each tourney (teams/solo/FFA)

Having never stated that i am a great player, i have nothing to prove, i just hate playing in lag and losing in lag even more.
Every connection ive had to the us has been 330+ ping… Is that a game that YOU would want to play?

there seems to be some confusion as to whether matches are meant to be best of 5/best of 3/first to whatever etc etc etc.
i just want to establish that we are only offering points for an overall win/loss, and not for each individual game played, right? (correct me if im wrong but this is the way i assumed it was being run)
example : little timmy no thumbs plays against Brad the impaler and they play best of 5
timmy no thumbs takes 2 games, while Brad the impaler takes 3 games, thus winning overall.
for this, Brad the impaler gets 5 points for his overall win (not 3x5 for each round he takes)
Timmy no thumbs gets 2 points for an overall loss. (not 2x5 for each round he takes)
so now the scores will read as follows
Brad the impaler 5 points
Timmy no thumbs **2 points **
etc etc etc
so since we are only counting overall wins and losses, **you can basically play whatever the heck amount of games you want to in order to determine the better player **(hence why i have been suggesting FT5s with all my matches so far)

Yeah… Sigh. I’m going to go ahead and forfeit all of my matches for the month. Another extreme change to my living situation. I’m not sure when i’ll be playing again, but hopefully the patch will be out, and this really cool tournament will be still be aroumd.
Okay, I’m here and free today because I totally forgot about Yom Kippur today. Since it’s a holiday, I can do my matches today if anyone else is on.
