China: there is a tourney on Thursday in Denton, it’s posted here in the tournament threads. Also there is a strong gathering ussually on Fridays in Plano at the House of Goons, but this Friday may be off due to someone in the scene getting married. Just goto the DTX thread and check it out.

Well I’ve only attended one so far, and it was extra lame. Even though there were decent players there, the sticks and controllers were ALL busted and everyone wasn’t unlocked (which was promised to be the contrary before the tourney started). But yeah I’m interested in steppin into the offline tourney scene now.

Yeah… that’s a ghetto tourney if you had to use their controllers and sticks.

Just make sure you do your research and find a more reputable tourney to go to for your next one.

Well for me personally, I wasn’t about to travel across the country for a tournament…I’m not that addicted to SF4. I can imagine the same to be true for the rest of the members of team that are further east from me (Dallas, TX) like in NY, UK etc.

Yeah, we compete in tourneys as well…i’m wondering if any of you naysayers would be interested in a few bouts with me. Oh and where will SB4 be held Shardz?

Just read up and saw that tony posted as well, you should def come out to the plano gatherings if your wanting to step up your game, I can’t say much of the other two locations since I have yet to go, but the people who come to the plano house are pretty beast, My sakura is working her way up, I mashed binhs face, I can live with that, a definite moral boost haha.
