Actually, we are still going to SFSU this Saturday given that the machines will probably be crowded then; Friday morning is good since not as many people will be there.
Besides, SFSU will have AE soon enough, so the trips to SFSU will eventually make more sense than heading out all the way to Milpitas; we just want an early taste of AE and bonding with new members.
The problem right now is that my law school requirements are still not done (deadlines slowly approaching; I’m getting a little worried now)… I have to modify my personal statement and stuff before sending them out to different schools.
The earliest I might be done is Thursday; I’ll post in this thread if I can make it.
If I do, it’ll likely be the same time as last time, though I won’t stay on long enough unless I can catch a ride with Zaku (I’ll toss in for gas!).

You can combo into an EX RCF via CL. HP (also a fierce RCF). However, it’s not worth it with damage scaling. You do more damage doing CL. HP, cr. mp xx EX FBA and you save one bar of meter (side note: doing EX RCF without canceling from the CL. HP, cr. mp xx EX FBA does the same amount of damage as this combo).
Therefore, this combo is more for a follow up when you finally get to land an EX RCF (from my experience, mostly against Guiles and Chuns).
I can make it on Thursday for some Mvc2. DKL, if you need a ride I can give you one. I probably won’t stay too late since I have work, maybe until like 10 or 11.
The other day I tried turning on my PS3 but I can’t make anything display on my pc monitor. I’m trying to use the composite cables (blue, green, orange), but it won’t work. I tried the “hold the power button” trick but didn’t work. I guess I’ll need another tv to test it on and switch to the right settings there.
Shameless plug here, does anyone need a place to stay around Berkeley? One of my roomates left and now we have to cover for his part of the rent. Our lease ends in June and we have 3 rooms for 4 people.
Yeah, what you need to do with the PS3 is to plug it using the red-white-yellow thing then change the system settings for display…

Yeah, this is the annoying part of the PS3: it’s not particularly easy to choose between HD and SD unlike the XBOX where it’s a switch on the wire.
That being said, there may be a technique to make this easier, but I wouldn’t know what it is.
ALSO, after thursday, I will update thread title and talk about Berkeley apartment; that might be important for people moving into the bay area.

So, yeah, I’ll lend you my converter thing on Thursday and you can get the CRT out of storage and fix it using that… though, it might be tricky getting the TV up the stairs, so I’m not sure…
Maybe I can bring my PS3 to the Thursday meet or the Saturday one. I’m not in a hurry to play any PS3 games right now. I googled a few things to resolve the problem, but none really worked. There was this video that showed you how to navigate the menu blind, but I think it didn’t work on mine since it’s new and I have to go through the initial setup.
Yeah, let’s just wait on whether or not Chris is cool with Thursday.

Thursday would be great any time 1 or later, if just you are coming my room could work, but if the PS3 is in play we can just go to that main living room area for more space. We could work on both your Mahvel teams, and maybe get in some Senko too. >.>
