What’s crazy about this whole situation is that I’ll have to register on-site Friday( since I work) because my direct deeposit won’t go through until then. I… do not like this; I really only wanted to watch, but ended up registering for $40 because I thought it was required to actually get into the venue to watch.
I’m very frustrated right now given that I wasn’t very comfortable parting with that much money.

Yeah, I guess I fucked up… in any event, I kinda just wish there was an obvious blurb in the opening post that indicated spectating; I misinterpreted the required registration as something I needed to do to just go watch… when it’s apparently only something you need to do if you’re going to play in the tournament.

You only need to pay $10 so that you can watch the event (and play the MVC3 demo)…
This will give you an all weekend pass in the form of a bracelet.
Actually playing in the EVENT consists of 2 fees:
The venue fee, which is $40 (will be $50 at the day of the tournament, but it’s not actually guaranteed that you’ll get into the tournament if the brackets fill up).
And a $10 per tournament you enter (except for SSF4 team tourney where it’s like $30-$40 or something).

I was initially down about Cammy losing TKCS spammage. Then I heard about her normals getting buffed, perhaps making her more like how she was in CvS2. I’d happily give up the instant dive kick for a stronger ground game…maybe…
That said, I may give Juri another go considering her arcade buffs. I was trying main her when Super released but I couldn’t deal with the walk speed, and I wanted to spam dive kicks more. :bgrin:
I don’t mind going to Starbase tomorrow instead. I’d prefer it actually; though I won’t stay long (8-11, I’m thinking). :tup:

As regards to Super Arcade changes, I don’t like the idea of Cammy losing her TKCS, as it was one of the things that I liked most about her(despite some of the other buffs). Also, nerfing Rufus’ ex jesus kick damage even further is kind of unnecessary IMO, as is a total nerf of Honda’s damage(lazy balancing IMO). Time will tell how it all works out.
Hmmm, that sounds better. I dont mind only being able to play MvC3. I actually want to go now. Not sure about MaNoel. Do I have to register? Can I pay on site? I like short sentences.
