So a couple questions about Final Round since I know some of you in this thread have been there before:
I would enter some tournaments if the entry wasn’t so expensive, that’s throwing a lot of money away lol.
Spectator badges will be sold at the door only for $15 bucks but idk if you can play friendlies with it. I think all the badges looked the same last year so maybe this year the badges will be different from each other.
Hey guys, A.R.K. III (one of the largest fighting game tournaments in the South) is coming up on April 2nd at Conway Gaming Center in Conway, AR! We are expecting at least ~120 people at this tournament featuring games such as SSF4, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Arcana Heart 3, Blazblue: CS, Tekken 6, Melee, Brawl, Project: M, and more! You can play friendlies at the venue fee with the spectator badge, but cannot participate in any tournaments, official & unofficial (side events).

Shoryuken - The Mortal Kombat Challenge Tower
This is awesome. There have been several times in other fighters where I’ve finished training mode stuff for the day, don’t feel like playing online, and don’t want to waste time in arcade mode, but still want to play the game just to have something to do. The Challenge Tower seems like exactly what I’m looking for: something to screw around with to keep the game from feeling too monotonous and to keep myself from feeling burned out. It’s nice that it seems like a mix of more serious, tutorial/trial mode type stuff with silly mini-game shit throw in for a change of pace.
MK9 is seriously looking better and better. I’m cautiously optimistic, but if the game ends up as good as it sounds, I’m going to be very happy. I was a huge fan of UMK3, so hopefully MK9 won’t disappoint.
