Yeah, I’ve been going to Waba for Smash for a while now, but I’m sad that no/few fg players show up to that place. Georgia Tech is a little far off from me, but if I’m ever in the area, I might drop in.
Went to something called Nerdacon in Marietta over the weekend. I played some Super and BB and then everyone and their mom wants my XBL. Does anyone know of this one guy, he claims not to have an SRK handle, who brings a TvC setup to a lot anime conventions and is really, really good at the game? It’s inspired to me to really get back into the game. I don’t care how dead it is. I’m setting it up at every place I go to.

On a serious note, I’ll be back in the ATL hopefully next fall or summer, and JDash has shown the slightest amount of interest of actually wanting a roommate, but don’t take my word for it.
Until then, who in the area wants to play Friday and weekends? Sadly, I go to bed @ 8, so weekdays suck. Also no console, just a couple of PS3 sticks…so you might think I’m a scrub since I can’t practice here.

Hey, guys, how does this sound for a low tier team?
Morrigan(AA)/Gambit(Projectile)/Cammy(AA)
I’ve been getting some decent win streaks with this team so far, but whenever I’m forced to switch to Gambit I notice that he kinda sucks. Maybe I’m playing him wrong or maybe I should have Morrigan Projectile assist to help his approach?
Also, I’m having a Smashgiving next weekend where a bunch of people from around the area and OoS come to give rape and take money from one another. Y’all should come on over for some games/fooooooood.

I want to throw a tournament on Alabama Soil entitled “Alabama Crisis”, I am currently in search for a venue that is not to far from you all to travel (birmingham/montg the 2 places I know in bama that still play).
I want to host it in feb but I can’t reach any of the bama vets to get this done.

well first off, are you trying to make it legal in any particular low tier ruleset? If not, that is fine. (if you wanna know, yours is legal in the format used in the xbox live, psn, and season’s beatings low tier tournaments, but it is not legal in NEC low tier format). if it is just for low tier money matches or something I would find it acceptable.
morrigan is strong with gambit, as is most any rushdown, as it lets random jabs combo into big damage (in the case of morrigan this means her infinite, and dhc combos. I dunno if cammy can dhc from gambit, but if you can’t, I would find a new 3rd char.
Gambit is actually not that weak, his launcher is very strong AA, and with an assist that does not provide a tight blockstring (doom, tron, others too I just can only think of top tier examples atm), he can be making you block it and then go to walldive on the opposite wall and it is an extremely fast crossup. dash up c.lk + tron c.lk qcf kk, they get crossed up and then the super hits too (plus it is safe on block). Gambit’s strengths are his safe supers (well not royal flush, that one is the damage) and his ability to dhc to and from 90% of the shit on the game. Also other low tiers are going to have problems with you sj back on the opposite side of the screen and throwing downward kinetic cards.
Cammy is strong as fuck but you probably already know that.
