Hey, guys. I’m finally back in 'Bama.
… I’m having a hard time learning MvC2. It feels like a mixture of old school fgs and new school fgs, it seems really easy to learn certain things, but I’m not even fathoming possibilities of other, more difficult things (Mag combos into WHAT!?). I have no idea where to start, but at the same time I have no idea what to actually search for and Marvel doesn’t seem like one of those games you can just look up guides for and must learn through tons of matches+IRL teachers. Maybe I’m looking too much into it and overwhelming myself, idk. I used to think Blazblue was technical before I learned how to play. I used to think SF was fun until I learned how to play, etc.

I might be looking into trying to hold some sessions every Friday or Saturday once Arcana Heart 3 comes out in January. I’m not really sure how many people in Alabama are going to be interested in this game, but I’ve been following AH since the original and I’d like to get a scene started for AH3 so it can get some recognition in the south, ya know? Anyway, I’ve only got a PS3, so that’s what system the game would be played on and I could have 5-6 people attend (got a couch and three chairs in the living room), unless someone else feels like showing and wants to sit on the carpet, lol.
Anyway, I just thought I’d throw that out there since I’m getting the game day one and wanted to know who all would be interested in attending a session for AH3.
