I have SSF4 I will bring it to montgomery this weekend.
The game is very good they made many characters jump better so that attacking is easier and focus attacks and dashes are improved and many of the new characters like dudley and adon and makoto move very quickly so they are naturally good at attacking. Dudley in particular is barely nerfed from his 3S incarnation and seems maybe even overpowered at this point. Sorry, Zangief nerf isn’t true he is still retarded and Sagat can still trade into f+rh.
have no idea what tournaments kami is supposed to have.
i’ll have a table for our convention there, so maybe stop by and we can get some sf matches in if anyone here is headed to kamicon.

Actually I’ve seen two slim models (both were silver) work with Free McBoot with no problem.
I cannot, however, get it to work on my slim black PS2.

I can’t go to the Game Galaxy tournament on May 8th because of prom but I talked to a guy who works at the Gamestop in Madison Square Mall and they’re hosting a tournament for Super on Saturday May 1st so Huntsville cats may wanna try and make it to that. The only downside (and it’s pretty major) is the low payout. First place takes a 25$ gift card to Gamestop…
Still, this will be a good way to meet new gamers and to get casuals or practice matches in. Just head over to the Gamestop in the mall and tell them that you’re interested in entering the tournament, sign-up’s are free.
And again, I’m gonna try and host an SSF4-exclusive gathering at my place next month. It’ll be a crack session, 10-12 hours of non-stop SSF4. Anyone and everyone is invited, just give me a heads up so I know what to expect.

Sounded somewhat legit from what the guy told me. Says he’s a fellow SF4 player and from what we talked about he seemed to know his stuff. Still, you never know…
And yeah, the first three weeks of next month are gonna be crazy for me. Finals in my college courses, highschool graduation, prom, and hopefully I’ll be starting my new job. The gathering is gonna have to wait til the third, maybe fourth Saturday fo sho.
