I know that sometimes the lag can be frustrating, but I still think that we learn a lot every time we play each other, even if it’s over live. Oh, I totally fixed my connection and it doesn’t have the same problems as before like how it would just randomly start lagging. I messed around with the ports and now it’s all good. So…is there anyone from Huntsville that plays SF4? And if not, how far would I have to drive to get involved with the AL SF4 scene? I’m not particularly good at the game but I’m definitely down to learn. Playing on XBL is kinda getting old so I’m looking for some offline action. Be it casuals/training/whatever, I just wanna get into SF4. Like I said, I live in Huntsville right now, but I’ll be living in Tuscaloosa next year for college.
I’ve got school today and tomorrow Raph, so I wont be on until Wednesday. Actually, I’ll be on but only from like 2:45 to 4:30pm. Which means that I’ll be on as soon as I get off the computer. I’ll send you a FR with my new account.
So many things happened but the only shit talk I can recall was a little bit from Pokchop directed at Bama tekken players during money matches. That and Smoov talking shit to me (of all people). Maybe something happened while I wasn’t looking.
But I gotta echo Iceman: whoever you are, you may want to skip FR; ATL’s pretty severe when it comes to that. I hate that you got a bad impression on your first (?) time here but I do appreciate you and everyone else for coming out to the tourney. But enough of that now time for a wall of text:
I’m glad I won the tourney (elated actually) cuz I was down to my last bucks when I entered and now I have enough to get me through the week. I understand that everyone who participated was either mad rusty, or on the come up and that my character really has no bad matchups. GF went a lot smoother than I expected and I am fucking sick of Hazanshu. This is basically the first tourney I ever won that had good ppl participate (despite rustiness/inexperience). Hopefully I’ll be able to repeat the effort when ppl are better.
Phoenyx: Hope you had fun [trying to] run the tourney. I know I wouldn’t. thanks for the ride anyway.
Iceman: Thank you so much for coming, helping with [doing] the brackets and bringing Pokchop so Bama Tekken players could basically buy him dinner. Shit talk IMO is always welcome and generally adds to hype. That guys throw breaks are jesus I saw him probably take about two the whole day (out of 20 or so attempts).
Pokchop: I should’ve quit while I was ahead and you can expect me to next time.
Mississippi: Was it one of you the complained about the shit talk? I can’t be sure but that’s really how fighting games go (especially in the states). I’d like to see the lot of you level up and attend FR.
Zo: You’re not GETTING me to Grand Finals CUZ YOU SUCK. Haha I shoulda said that. I don’t know why you quit BB altoghether with its good netcode but you shouldn’t have. Bama is famous for playing ARC System Works games and I’m sure you could be nationally ranked if you’da kept it up.

Hey Iceman, I don’t have any pics of myself online atm. I do have multiple forms of ID and there’s always that “point him out” method. I’ll try not to get into any brutal, disfiguring car accidents until then. I don’t know if I can make ATL revival as Phoenyx is clearly the only reliable person to take me (that and my car broke on me).

we both play sagat and there’s a the 1 person per character limit we gotta figure this out
how about we play at the friday of final round if that’s not too late?. i dunno i would say the best solution would be to play each other than play every other person on the team and compare scores, sagat vs. sagat is pretty fucked up. but it’s up to you.
if it is we gotta figure something out. you’re probably better than me but i’ve never seen you play sf4, last time i saw you play was 3S days. just want to make sure we have the best possible team
