The 3rd strike sticks fucking suck!!! Omg I scream everytime I miss a DP shoulder tackle with Yun.

Competition sticks are only $12 I believe, and you can pick em up from the depot for even cheaper. P360s are around $40 I believe, same deal. Shouldn’t be too hard to get some new ones in there.

yeah. I agree with all the people on this page.
The sticks on 3S suck dick. I couldn’t do a crouching forward into saIII with ken nor crouching shortx2 into saIII. When I got home I was hitting it all night and early morning. So screw the sticks at funsville for 3s.
And marvel’s stick was loose like a whore also. the stick is WAY too far apart from the buttons. I eventually got used to them but the other people that were there couldn’t and I think that took away from the full competition. And that’s the reason why we run these tournies, it’s for the awesome competition we can get from outer towners.
Props to Max for winning mvc2. Props to jae for winning 3s. Good game to Icege in 3s. I know how you feel about the sticks. we didn’t use a single super in our fight I don’t think. hahaha.

well the only thing going for funsville are the buttons. The buttons are great at funsville but the sticks itself isn’t that far off from tilt’s.
But the main point is that we complain about the sticks b/c it not only affects the aug players but also the outer towners. it’s not about being thankful that it’s not tilt, it’s about making it fair for all players that play at funsville.
Not trying to be mean or nothing. no beef man. except on my hamburgers.

nah im not arguing or anything, i really want P360s too, im jus sayin im happy with what we got as of right now, but im gonna ask D about P360s this friday and i’ll see what he says…i know a lot of people that will pitch in a few dollars for it as well…if we’re able to get the P360s then it will make our tourneys more worth it…I plan on making the next tourny APEX as well for the hell of it to get publicity…and Dyce is Michael Brunner from Macon, and Ness da Silent is Matt Amacker from Augusta

yea i didnt catch a lot of peoples names that went to the tourny, mainly the 3S players…oh well, i’ll jus hafta meet yall at the next one :D, so i guess if we put in some P360s the next tourny should be pretty straight :tup:, but theo ne thing i wanna do to improve the tourny is to have the console play more organized, i kinda slacked on that portion…but i’ll be sure to get it up and running on time next time…i wanna try to get like 3-4 Tvs next time, for faster tourny play and just casual play…my friend in management really liked the turn out, so im pretty sure hes all up for any ideas i throw in…

Sup everyone, sorry i couldn’t make it. I was all hardcore about this tourney, practicing like 4-5 different games…just to get hit with the flu and practically died for the whole weekend (so freakin painful)
I glad we got such a great turnout, good job Nam for holdin it down. Lets definitely starting setting up for the Dec 11 tourney.
As for the sticks…i have been fighting with both arcades in augusta about getting new sticks. Believe it or not, the sticks in marvel used be Happ Ultimate aka “Ultimate Crap.” I got the arcade manager to switch them out for Competitions, so they can’t possibly be as bad as everyone is saying (except for the fact that the spring isn’t as tight as it could be, the accuracy is still there) One thing i can understand is that buttons are spaced pretty far apart from the buttons and does take getting used to. As for 3S…I playtested the original sticks in that cabinet when we first got it…couldn’t even do dp’s on 2p side unless u smashed the stick into the diagonal. So those are now competitions as well. Which are the same sticks that everyone in augusta has on their home sticks (except for Nam who has Lorenzo parts in his). I’m glad to see you guys are willing to fork up cash for P360’s when about 6 months ago when i tried to at least replace the Ultimates around town with Comps nobody wanted to put up a dime. But anyway, if we are goin to get new sticks, we need to start raising money now, at 40 bucks a pop, and two cabinets, we need to come up with a lot of money.
Sup, i just got an update on the sticks, he said that he can get some P360s and put them in there, he said the reason that P360s werent, was because he didnt think people wanted them…So next tourny we should definitely have P360s…he said he can get the P360s, as long as we keep spendin money at Funsville :woot: who goes to the mall to play anyway nowadays?..
