They play Guilty Gear in Genshiken, with actual footage and all. There’s even a bit of Sol-combo in the opening. It’s GG Isuka though, which is odd

Then again, I haven’t watched the second season yet or read that far in the manga so…Anyway, yeah, Genshiken has a lot of gaming moments, and it’s awesome. So very awesome.

K-On, last 3 episodes: The ending was better than I expected. Sure, it was a standard finish, yet it was satisfying. Then again, my expectations were so low that they were easy to exceed. I think if I went into this show knowing it would be more slice of life and less about music, I would have liked it more.
Spice and Wolf 2: I didn’t want to like this episode. I wanted it to be another boring episode filled with 5 minute speeches about coin value changes.
Then I watched the episode.
It was filled with all the Horo-Lawrence goodness I enjoyed about Spice and Wolf. Definitely picking this show up. The more they focus on their relationship, the better.
Sure, but you’ll probably miss a character introduction or two in the process from the past seasons. But still, feel free to pick whatever season you’d like.

I’m concerned about how much of my brain is devoted to memorizing various fictional character relations and interactions. I mean, I can pick yo a show I haven’t seen in weeks, watch a couple of minutes and it all comes back to me. I mean, imagine instead of knowing who has a one sided love,a fetish for what or why that character is so bossy in class, I knew…I dunno…capitals…or mathematic formulas, I’d pass for a fairly intelligent person.

I actually got into Genshiken because of the Guilty Gear scenes that a friend showed me way back a few years ago. Then I just started enjoying the show for what it is: a pretty hilarious view on the otaku world.
I did cringe at the KOFXI footage they used in the Genshiken OVA episodes. I wasn’t expecting major combos or anything from Sasahara and Kuchiki but… ugh.

Who here has seen the leaked last 26 minutes of Rebuild of Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance? The quality is naturally poor, but it doesn’t hinder the fact that what you see is fucking amazing.
They changed SO MUCH and it’s SO FUCKING GOOD. I can’t wait to see this film in it’s full length glory!
