Not much did change. However, most players seem to say that it was mostly rushed; when it comes to the character development and how their emotions were portrayed in some key scenes.

Scroll down a bit and you’ll find some translation patches for all 4 episodes released so far. You’ll need to look for the originals via the other usual means, though.

[details=Spoiler]So…Athena is where Hayate got his super hax from. BTW, if Athena doesn’t turn out to be a total heel and ends up in his harem…the other girls are FUCKED. Hayate admitted to her face he loved her (though of course he was a kid, the implications of romance were definitely there). Those two were into some heavy stuff back when all the other girls didn’t even know he existed (except Izumi lol, didn’t see that one coming).
Of course…I still think Hayate x Maria should be OTP. Maria = awesome.[/details]

Art looks very…Miyazaki-ish. That or it reminds me of Dennou Coil. Anyway, it just sets up the main character, the rather cynical Mirai, her family and those who are around her. The real star of the show, the earthquake, comes in right at the end of the episode - so next week is where things will pick up and a better opinion could be formed

There’s your problem. Zetsubou Sensei has no consistent plot whatsoever; basically, it’s about a bunch of socially dysfunctional people with their quirks get to bitch and spread their negative views on society and what goes around it in a dark comedy wrapping. Sure a few reoccurring things happen here or there, but it usually shifts back to the usual in no time.
Ken: Mazui’s subs for ep 1 weren’t so bad, I guess. If you’re eager to check it out, feel free.

that was my problem too, i had no fucking idea what was happening but the theme song sucked me in at the time. it always changed views so much i just didnt know wtf was going on. might as well redownload some again, but can just watch the new season since theres no real story?
not sure if i posted this before. saw Big Windup on youtube what a good dub they only had 4 episodes so ill keep waiting or download it since i never saw any baseball animes. the main character is the biggest pussy though always crying about everything. the coach has humongous titties for no damn reason.
