How so? I thought whoever beats takuto gets to be leader, or failing that, Sugata if they can convince him, head is just acting as a temporary leader it seems. How do they know who they are? THey’re always like…YOU MUST green sparkly box! Does salute and you, you must be zankwaqakatil. Which is weird because they make no attempt to disguise their hair or anything. These people would be fooled by Clark Kent taking off his glasses. [details=Spoiler]Watched the episode on Friday, but just now getting around to posting about it. That final scene with all four girls… man I didn’t even know what to think. Fuck Kyubey, that piece of shit. Even with that said, I love the direction the show is going. Having the girls not even have their real bodies anymore is a pretty big mind fuck, but it makes me wonder going by what Kyubey said, would Mami be able to be brought back? I don’t remember if it was clear that her Soul Gem was destroyed by the witch that killed her.

Judging by what Kyubey has said about Homura and the girl’s reaction to Madoka throwing Sayaka’s Soul Gem away, I wonder if Homura is the very first magical girl ever in the series. Kyubey doesn’t know much about her, and she seems to know literally everything horrible about being a magical girl.

Not sure how much longer Kyoko will be around. Maybe she’ll die within the next two episodes, or maybe she’ll die when Walpurgisnacht (a mega witch or something?) arrives. I don’t see her surviving by the end of the series. Fuck I dunno I can’t really figure out what is going to happen with the girls.

Maybe Madoka will never actually become a magical girl. Or maybe she will at the end. I can’t tell. If you watch the OP, she seems to be imaging herself being a magical girl, and then later she seems to be in her room and falls asleep. Maybe her being a magical girl after that point in the OP is only her dreaming? Or maybe I’m just looking into it too much.

I wonder if Kyubey is just using the magical girls in order to sustain himself. There could be a larger purpose to all this, but perhaps he needs used up Grief Seeds to survive. That would explain why he needs the girls to make contracts. Fuck Kyubey. Forever.[/details]

Way to be behind on the times. Madoka Magica is probably one of the best anime trolls in a long time. Pretty much episodes 1 and 2 are troll episodes, and episode 3 and beyond the show gets really, really dark. The show is pretty much grim dark with mahou shoujo elements.

Even the director trolled everyone on his Twitter. He said that the show was going to be moe and cute, but then later said that he lied and the show is going to get even darker. :rofl:
