Fractale is a show that, based on this first episode, seems like its trying sell to me on the setting alone. That will not work on me. The main character sucks, it looks like a Ghibli flim knockoff, (which isnt that bad actually) and it didnt really go anywhere. Ill still watch it cause it’ll probably can only get better from here on.

So Friday I started watched Index season 2 latest episode even though I’ve never seen or read anything related to this series at all for NOOOOOOO REEEEASON.

God, that Index said Touma’s name a good 17 times. Plus Touma guy is dumb as hell but he sure can punch people. Im gonna keep watching this.

Well, among the Index fandom, it is said that volume 12-13(the arc currently airing is volume 11) is when the actual plot begins. Imagine that the whole Index series is WWI. Everything you’ve watched so far is the formation of tangling alliances between nations and growing tensions in the Balkans. Volume 12-13 is Sarajevo.

No more Kanzaki this season. Misaka action is minimal. From now until the most recent volume of the novel, Misaka only fights one person with a name(and that was a sparring match). Mainly because when it comes to the main villains, she’d either be useless in a fight or so overpowered that the fight would be over by the first move. So she’s on redshirt duty. I guess that’s half the reason Railgun exists.

You’re right about the fights. The series is adapted from novels and most of the fights are the characters planning out the next move and observing the opponent. If they left all that in then it’dbelikeinthereallyoldanimelikeSpeedRacerwhereeveryonetalkslikethisandtheactionpauseswithspeedlinesinthebackground. But JC Staff understandably had to leave out the bulk of that, which has the unfortunate side effect of the action seeming terribly disjointed or arbitrary.

I’m sure there will be. The issue is, when? Rumor is that JC Staff will do Shakugan no Shana S3 and/or Railgun S2 first. If they stay more accurate to the Railgun manga this time and show us the entire Sister’s arc from her POV(far, far, far, far less moe) instead of making Saten defeat Accelerator with a baseball bat or some shit then I’d be amped. But I’d watch it regardless…

I’d recommend reading the Railgun manga, it is nothing like the anime.

The fact that they both have rings in their eyes, both have similar timepieces (Takuto’s watch/Head’s locket), both have a version of Tauburn, the fact that Head signed the painting like Takuto’s dad does and specifically said he wouldn’t kill Takuto because he’s his ally…yeah. Takuto’s gonna get his ass kicked by his pops next episode, prompting the upgrade we see in the new OP.

  • Sugata’s totally gonna join the Crux. Samekh for final boss sounds about right anyway.

  • Mizuno got shot down with an AK-47. Like I said, Takuto’s all in for Wako, everyone else is fucked.

Apparently she wants the help Hellscythe/Yuu in something regarding her clan of likely vampiric ninjas.
  • Some nice development between Yuu and Ayumu in the latter’s attempt in trying to talk to her; from asking awkward questions to breakdancing (and failing at it). Eventually she does so, still by pen and paper. Also includes a flashback sequence on how did Ayumu get to be a zombie.

I have a feeling Sugata will be the final boss too, but I’m not sure if he’s going to join the Glittering Crux.
