Easy. I could just make a channel on EFnet (or any other server). Just use IRC.
What Stabby has said about Touhou is incorrect. Touhou is NOT a collection of doujin bullet hell games; it is a way of life.
Hell yeah, actualy a bit more exited about Kenji Ohtsuki doing a new song for the op of the next series of Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei then the anime itself. :lovin:
Also finished Utawareumono and just staerted watching welcome to the NHK and it’s so funny lol, ordered the novel online and can’t wait for it to arrive.
Wikipedia’s entire entry on anime should be this and this alone imo. You could also add /robots to all of those categories and it’d still hold true btw.
So I just finished watching Yakitate!! Japan.
This is probably my second favourite anime, with Hajime no Ippo being first.
The last episode was awesome, although the ending left me a bit unsatisfied, making me want more.
I suppose I should read the manga to see if it has proper ending.
Now that I’m done with YJ, I’m back to watching Chrono Crusade.
Liking it so far. Currently on episode 16.
Action sequences are good.
Rosette looks Bridget from Guilty Gear.
More accurately Bridget looks like Rosette.
I don’t frequent this thread nor do I watch that much anime so I apologize if it’s been asked but are there any plans for BD releases? specifically berserk, death note, or bleach? I can’t find anything and it’ll be a cold day in hell before I go back to…dvd.
That’d be cool. I think we should do this with the upcoming K-On
Maybe Bleach down the line. Death Note perhaps. Berserk…Doubt it will happen for a very long time. None of these shows would benefit from a BD release anyway.
My problem with Hayate No Gotoku is that as a foreigner, you basically need a team of otaku working around the clock to be able to decipher some of the references.
I wouldn’t have gotten that reference (at the bottom of the page) last week
Go for it, man. :woot:
Wow, Hata sure is up to date with his references!
doooo iiiiit!!!
I’m not sure how good an idea that would be really since I assume we are all watching subs here, I imagine ther will be either a lot of dead time in the chat rooms or pausing and unpausing the video constantly to type responses without missing anything, stretching episodes to like an hour each or something.
Guess it wouldn’t be bad to do while downloading the anime though.
You can find a streaming channel with a chat, I know there is a way to do it. So you just load the website and you can blabber while we all watch the simultaneous stream.
Mangafox fucking sucks.
http://www.livestream.com/ — Bam. Finally, 4chan useful for something.
We could do both, though. All depends on who’s willing to do the former; latter is likely more easier in the end.
As Rizon is the anime server, I’ve made a channel on the Rizon server. I can always change the server if you guys want.
So for now, irc://irc.rizon.net/SRKanime
I’ll be tweaking the channel so it becomes our own in the meantime.
^Hmm might pop in there if I ever start using IRC.
Does anyone know any sites that stream Welcome to the NHK (subbed) but don’t use megavideo btw?
Been using animeseed but the megavideo viewing limits are starting to hurt (at least I think that’s what it was video just stopped streaming in the middle last night)
Thanks for any answers (tried googleing but haven’t had much success, keeps linking to the dub or dead videos)
You could try EFNet since a lot of the FGC here on SRK goes there.
I’m on LunarNet all the time, but I’ll see if I can nail on Rizon sometimes.
I thought about that, then I was like, how many people in the FGC will actively talk about anime?
I was like…uhh…
We have 4 people now, so just keep coming to Rizon if that isn’t a problem. IRC supports multiple server use, so drop in. =)
