I’ve seen a few Nokia windos phones in China, Nokia has been like the goto brand for phones over here for a while. They don’t look too bad honestly.
I saw the Nokia N9 and salivated over that, but then found out its OS is abandonware and sighed.

Has anyone had an issue with ICS where the alarm goes off but doesn’t play a sound? This stupid issue has caused me to wake up late one too many times and I’m trying to find a solution for it.

But yeah… use something more reliable. i don’t trust my phone if i have something really important so I use my PC. Though that’s only because I have an infamous G2X and although it doesn’t black screen of death me much anymore, it does happen on occasion.

So my work gave me a Kindle Fire HD out of the blue…display is sick but Amazon has the OS locked down. Gonna root when a clean ver of Jelly is out/a decent custom rom is available.
For now I am running ADW Launcher EX which is really nice, makes it act more like my GNex. I’m just side loading non Amazon apps and most of the stuff works fine.
I’m waiting on to upgrade my current Transformer tf101 to a “hopeful” Nexus 7 LTE. Hoping that with the iPad Mini that Google will come with a version on October 24th. They have caught a 32 GB Nexus 7 off in Korea I believe.
went to a tmobile store after work today to see if they had a demo galaxy note 2. turned out they did so i messed around with it for 20 minutes or so. i talked to them about switching from sprint and it seemed they really wanted to lock me down so they said they’d hold one for me even though when i called earlier they said it was first come first serve. people on xda are saying some stores are only getting 2-3 units each so i feel pretty lucky i’ll be able to get one tomorrow.
honestly the best part will leaving sprint and their crappy ass network. when i ran a speedtest on the gn2 the dl speed was SIXTY times faster than my evo4g.
Nexus 7 crapped out on me. Only had it for about a month and barely used it. The touch screen just stopped working randomly. Looked it up and supposedly its kinda frequent with these. Pretty pissed lol will not be buying another one/tablet.
