Unlawfully shooting someone would be the kind misuse I’m referring to.

oh boy

firearms when sold to the public are sold with the intention to hunt and kill would be intruders and thugs. Using a firearm to kill randoms becasue whatever is misusing a weapon. Sort of like when people misuse the first amendment to spew their bullshit.

you want a gun that you can carry around the street? You need to get a background check, as well as take courses and get certified. I don’t need a license to buy a car, but I do need one to drive it on the street. But I don’t need a license if i’m going to drive the car illegally in the street. This is just more reduntant red tape that does absolutely nothing to curb gun violence. If you really want to address firearm violence in this country, you’re gonna have to essentially target minority neighborhoods and have a long talk about them and their “hood culture”. But that’s not gonna happen, and people would rather pretend that making it harder for law abiding citizens to go on about their day is gonna stop tyrone/juan from killing each other.

If you really want to address firearm violence in minority neighborhoods you have to address the US government’s role in creating ghettos.

http://www.npr.org/2015/05/14/406699264/historian-says-dont-sanitize-how-our-government-created-the-ghettos

Nobody is forcing minorities to continue that lifestyle. Government didnt force me to follow my parents mistakes, and they didnt force me to not try in school. You can blame the enviorment all you want, but at the emd of the day nobody forced you to be a gang memeber, or not try to do anything productive with your life.

There is no excuse anymore, its not 1980’s where government flooded streets with coke and the lead ethate in the air was manifrsting itself by permantly wiring kids to have violent tendencies. Minorities failing today and continuing the same trends is completely on them.

Uh except the government is built on a foundation of systemic racism and that hasn’t changed. The way police interact with people of color hasn’t changed. Racial profiling still exists. Black people are disproportionately jailed. The list goes on and on.

‘People of colour’ is a stupid term. Everyone is a colour.

Hmm what do you guys think about this take:

I completely disagree with him, I just like people who think for themselves.

It’s never going to happen because we have a strong NRA and we elect presidents like Trump not Killary Clinton.

Hillary makes no bones about her desire to overturn the 2nd amendment neither do the judges that Obama has appointed that see the 2nd amendment as outdated.

You start saying things like the 2nd amendment is outdated, well what about the first what about the bill of rights. I used to be a strong gun control advocate until I learned the actual statistics and how open and concealed carry laws actually lower gun violence, and how cities like Chicago with the strictest gun control have the highest amount of gun violence. I realized I was lied to. Guns are very American and we should follow the Swiss in having a peaceful gun rights society, and that means more Liberty not less. Anyways. The short answer to your question is politicians like Hillary and Obama want your guns, they’ll say one thing publically do another behind your back.

People who aren’t white.

I should go to bed but before I just wanted to say “It’s not that easy” if it was, we wouldn’t be having this discussion. I’ve been hearing this for a while now since I was a kid. My family members said the same thing you did, back then, but I still had in mind that they (we?) were the exception, not the rule. I’m sure my parents would be singing a different tune if they worked as hard as they did and it still didn’t work out.

I’ll respond more tomorrow but just wanted to chime in. It’s different now with all the information we have now compared to then, but the fundamentals of learning are still slipping.

I really don’t give a shit about anything or anyone talking about race. That’s about the most devolved discussion you could have in 2016. We are one race the human race, anything else is race baiting nonsense. All races have the same rights under the law since the 60s, that’s 50+ years now, and nobody under the age of 35 is racist, and if someone has racism in their heart whether they are black white Hispanic or green aliens from the planet Simtar, well they’re pieces of shit that nobody should take seriously or respect.

That’s great that you don’t see race. Too bad the US government and law enforcement doesn’t see it that way…

Just skimmed through it.
If what he’s saying is the truth then that would imply that wikileaks would be a nothing more then a psyop another thing to note is that the dude seems to not think about the option of insiders within organizations could be leaking real information. Or even completely overlooking that front businesses are a real thing.

In my opinion, this fake news narrative is just a way to try to cover their asses and a convenience way for them to be “killing two birds with one stone”.
Now I’ve been skimming through all this since the initial email leaks and seen all the circumstantial evidence to this point. I think it is real under the basis that certain rituals and practices do take place. (Satanic ritual abuse cases. Missing children cases)

Now whether you believe in deities is irrelevant. Cause the people practicing this certainly do. Following the logic that what the elite think and do is whats important then finding the connections is the right way to go about.

Free speech is not supposed to protect you from public backlash it only protects you from illegal public backlash. So for example I can’t kill someone because they said something I don’t like but I can protest.

You can’t fire someone for their religious beliefs but you can fire them for beliefs that aren’t protected. You can’t fire someone for being a muslim/black/gay/disabled but you can fire someone for pretty much anything that isn’t protected by the constitution.

Speech is different because we decided it was different. We amended the constitution to fit our needs, before it was legal to discriminate for pretty much any reason. People protested and the constitution was changed to limit the right to discriminate on certain grounds. If you really feel like this shouldn’t be the case write your congressman/senator and tell him to do away with things like the civil rights act and other anti discrimination laws and tell us how that conversation turned out.

Unless you can point to something in the design that makes it more suited to shooting “would be intruders and thugs” than it is for shooting people in general, you can hardly lean on some sort of “off label use” justification for indemnifying manufacturers. You can show me how a car or passenger jet or butcher knife, when used to harm someone, is being used outside of the obvious intent of its design. Can you show me the same thing for the typical firearm?

There are no special legal protections to keep car, airplane, or knife manufacturers from being sued if their products are used to kill someone. In fact, there are extremely few things at all in the US you aren’t allowed to sue over. So why are gun manufacturers entitled to special rights other industries aren’t granted?

Mind you, I’m not some sort of anti-gun zealot. I enjoy target shooting. A lot. I even competed a little as a kid.

But gun rights advocates go so fucking berserk every single time anybody asks if we could be doing better. Same sort of shrill histrionics you get from SJWs and the “left” that makes you want to tear your eyes out. Exact fucking same.

You know what? I hear a LOT in here about what a violent shit-hole “cucks and cowards” are supposedly letting Sweden turn into. Meanwhile the USA has five times the murder rate. So if the Swedes are cowards for not attempting to address their problems, what does that make us?

The thing is a lot of gun owners who are in the NRA are also opposed to some of the things the organization does. Most people are all for more extensive background checks but the organization fights tooth and nail to stop the legislation because they take stuff like this to an illogical conclusion. “First background checks then dem libruls will round up all yer guns!”

Wait are you saying that if we talk about the provable phenomenon of systemic racism then we’re race baiting? Seriously though there is systemic racism and you can see that in just the way we criminalize(and don’t criminalize) certain drugs. For example crack versus heroin. When crack was destroying the black community the response was to lock pretty much everyone who was using it up but now heroin is destroying rural and suburban areas where white people mostly populate all of a sudden it’s a “public health crisis” and we shouldn’t be prosecuting them because they are ill.

Attempting to get these mooks to see that this country is horrifically biased and unjust is an exercise in futility, let alone getting them to understand that something other than perpetuating it should be done. It doesn’t affect them personally, so they don’t care what it does to people besides themselves.

So who should be the pic for secretary of state?

Romney.

Gun_Noob: Hey, Hickok45, how many weapons do you own?

Hickok45: Well, I own a lot of firearms, but thankfully I haven’t had to use any of them as a weapon yet.

I really fucking hate flip flopping trump worshipers. No principles, they just follow the man.
