Not really since I am in full legal compliance, should I get caught and they prevail in court the worst that could happen is garnishment & backpay. I enjoy fighting the man, whoever said you can’t fight city hall never met me. Watching a Judge face palm when they realize I know the law gives me wood. Paying a fine or taxes in pennys, demanding a trial by combat,challenging the court as being a admiralty court due to a gold fringed flag I am all about it & love every minute of it.

This dude makes the judge rage quit so the defendant declares the trial over and walks out. I love this guy.

I know someone in that same thought process. Doesn’t pay shit 'cause he knows the tax code well enough to know he doesn’t have to, and the few times he’s been pulled into a courtroom, makes everyone’s life so miserable due to all his knowledge that they say “fuck it” and move on. Taxes on businesses, yeah you have to pay your taxes.

Income Tax though is voluntary and unconstitutional if enforced cause it would be a direct tax.
For example, If you are a high end waiter and make $60,000 in tips a year. You don’t have to disclose that as income. Government has no right to tax your labor.

Sure it does, I won a ordinance dispute when I lived in Seattle and removed the cities power lines from my property and put in Solar panels. The trick is to demand and exhaust due process. The cost & time of due process usually isn’t worth the municipality to continue fucking with you. They always try to engage arbitration or a settlement, the second you take it you’ve lost. Seriously, this shit wouldn’t happen if the tax code wasn’t written in such a way that those with the ability (read: those that can afford the tax lawyers to dig up every loophole left in that monstrosity) can get away without paying a dime. Trump did was he was capable of. As do MOST of the top tier players. Demand a nerf on the tax code’s complexity if you wanna get pissy over anything. Scrub Logic 101, I tells ya.

True, this instance isn’t complex, but there ARE a ton of complex ways of completely avoiding the shit as well. The reality is that there’s no reason it shouldn’t be a flat tax of some sort instead of all the mess the tax code is now. Personally, I’ve always argued that instead of an income tax (something which is debatably even constitutional, amendment or not) it should instead be a sales tax. Combined with the existing import taxes, evasion is non-existent that way.

But I know the general public has a really hard time with math and seeing their store purchases jump a solid 30% makes people cringe, despite the fact their paychecks would be much larger in compensation. :bluu:

Wanna know how to solve all of these illegal immigrant and tax problems at th same time? Get rid of the current tax system and start a 15% consumption tax across the board. See, then even illegal immigrants without social security numbers and such pay taxes…
