why FROM 7pm? isnt that mad late. sunday works for me if people were to show up earlier. will play whatever. ps3 preferred. my xbox360 pcb randomly died…
Cosidering that the 8 bit tornament is happaning today is there still going to be a session on Sunday?
The 8-bit SSF4/MvC3 sessions have been running consistently every Sunday, rain or shine, unless otherwise noted. The next one is on Sunday April 9th at 7pm, all are welcome.
From what I was told, the sessions start at around 7pm because thats usually when customer traffic usually dies down. You’re welcome to arrive a few mins early to meet people and grab some $1 pizza across the street.
For those asking about consoles, they run Xbox360 by default but they can accommodate with PS3’s and extra copies of said games if needed.
I’m not sure if they have HDR on hand but if you have a copy, bring it along on your hard drive or USB stick and i’m sure you’ll find people to play with.

This Sunday was my first time going to an 8-bit session, and all I have to say that it’s really great. I plan to go there every Sunday from now on. You get the opportunity to play a lot of casuals, and hang out with other people. It’s a lot better than staying indoors and playing online matches, that’s for sure. The people there are friendly. It’s also free, so you don’t have to worry about money.
Just a reminder to swing by and hang out at 8-bit this Sunday night for some SSF4, MvC3 and misc. fighting game action!

I had a fun time. Didn’t meet many people except a man named Daniel and a kid who played an Ammy team early on but it’s a decent-sized crowd. I’ll be back either next Sunday or mid-May as I’ll be in Europe for a couple of weeks.

There are combos I just can’t land online no matter how hard I try. I’ve never once nailed Spencer’s Bionic Arm super online but I can get it all the time offline. Same goes for Magneto combos.
No session this Sunday it’s Easter and i want to spend time hunting chocolate eggs. We have a group on facebook called 8-bit dojo so join that and become a fan of chocolate lemon

You really should go. You’ll get way more advice at this place than you can from just me. I had a blast going. Once I get back from Europe I’m going to swing through again. Try to convince Joe to come, too. They have SSF4.

It is still going on. You can go on Friday, Sunday, or both. I’ve been going every Friday and Sunday for a little more than a month now, and every single session I’ve gone to, has been exciting. I definitely advise going. My game has improved significantly by going to these sessions, that’s for sure. Even if you’re more of a casual gamer, you’ll still have fun.
