Bummed I missed the Concord Tourney.
I originally planned on rolling out but I got swamped with work and school related stuff that needed to be done.
I don’t know if any of you guys are interested, but there is now a fully functional SF4 machine at Starbase arcade in San Rafael. The guys there have wired up a Xbox 360 and put it in an old champion edition cab. It’s still somewhat of a work in progress, so it aint pretty, but it works. I think they will eventually put in better sticks (currently some old Happ balltops) and maybe a bigger monitor.
Not sure how the pricing will work but it seems to be throw some quarters in the machine and play. Cool to get some arcade SF4 action. Fuck Xbox live!

Not sure how accurate this game list is anymore but should be a good idea.
Tonight would be a good night to check it out as there will be a gathering of some sort to play a bunch of SF games, with a lot of old school arcade enthusiasts. Over 21 if you want to get in on some refreshments

Starbase is a neat place. Games are randomly out of date and their stick maintenance is on and off. I do respect what the owner Bob does though and it’s easy to get to (Downtown San Rafael)
A friend of mine frequents the place now and then (he lives pretty close by), I might have to check this out eventually.

Do you have any regular xbox break away cables you can sell/give me? I’m trying to wire up one more xbox arcade joystick . This will allow me to play Capcom vs SNK2 or 3rd strike on good joysticks with friends on my old.

No Evo, Wrestlemania last month, spent way too much money, plus night of champions in june. I really don’t play too many games anyways, last time I went to an arcade was galleria in Houston.
