Nona has been improving on the art. Nowadays hating on Nona isnt justified because of the improvements. The art for XII is nowhere near the horrors of 2001. It’s kind of hard to redeem yourself if you made the art of 2k1. Especially with drawings like his Mai, Chang, Yuri and K’ :shake:
Hiroaki and Ogura Eisuke are good which is why you see them in more positive lights or as “cocksucking the artist” , im not saying they should have been the artists. Since Nona did a fine job with this. While they are good, I see no need to discredit Nona for his XII work.

2k1 art was great. If you don’t like his cartoony style that’s fine, but the quality is high as always.
Also, I don’t get why you mention Mai’s art as one of the worst examples… I think it’s sexy as fuck.
oh i don’t personally love Hiroaki, it just seems like as soon as Nona’s mentioned in a thread i have to read half a page of ZOMGHIROAKI posts till i can move on 
honestly, i think the vast majority of 2k1’s artwork was shit. But that has no bearing on where Nona is now, and seriously the endings in XI were beautiful and he’s developed a very unique style while keeping it looking good.
I definitely dig Nona.
