As for the netcode, yeah it’s early to jump the gun, but saying “not GGPO” and nothing else sounds halfway to the input delays we loathe so much. I hope I’m wrong though.
its really sad to see SC always perform so damn well. games looks shit all over sf4, but the gameplay? am i the only that hates SC with a passion. im no that into tekken, but at least its a good fighter in the end. which i dont find to be the case with SC.
sf4 has been the best online experience as close to prefect as you can get. If KOF uses something similar then its all good.
I agree if he just said ‘not GGPO’. If he didn’t say anything positive about the netcode then either it’s run of the mill shit or he’s under NDA. The only reason they have to keep good netcode under wraps as a selling point would be to announce it at E3, otherwise the netcode either sucks or SNK is really bad at press as usual.

SF4 online is as close to prefect as you can get.
Personally, I thought HDR and VF5 have the best netcode, but hey, its just one guy’s opinion.
Dont know what fighters you’ve played on console online that have played smoother than Sf4. Because i’ve played them all and SFHD remix and SF4 are bar none the best.:wonder:

ANYway, Loved the Raiden CCs in the latest videos, comboing into Airthrow in CC is just awesome! That’s something I always loved in DoA 3 that no other fighter did at the time… Snatching someone with a catching throw, after landing a bunch of other hits.
I love it when grappler characters have their own identity, that uses THERE moves in ways as interesting as combo-focused characters. It just makes them SO much more fun to play!
And did anyone notice one of the videos last night, of on-console play, had Shirtless Raiden as an alt color? Also we had an Elisabeth that had her boots and pants as the same color.
There’s also screen shots on Kotaku of Mature having her top and her pants different colours as well. (Top was blue, pants were still black if I recall)
I think the legions of lag giefs want to have a word with you. I don’t doubt it’s good, but there’s better. VF5 and HDR can attest to this.
