I don’t see BB or KOF making it to WGC or MLG (nor do I care, fuck em) or having national tournaments. Everyone who was excited for SFIV stopped caring now. No joke. Now they either are done playing with SFIV or think it was “gay” and are on to the next big Xbox game. Xbox pub players sicken me. It was basically the “Game of the Month” just like every other game on XBL besides Gears and Halo.

Don’t know how it is on the PS3, but that’s basically how it is here on the shores of Microsoft.

EDIT: Wow, that new filter will definitely turn heads from the doubters…

Yea they tweaked the filter well from the looks of it. 4 levels I think they mentioned on blurring, so it should aplease those who want a more “clean” look.

SC4 sold like mad, Tekken will outsell even that. BB is gonna be big for a niche title. Hoping KoF sells decently. I’d say fighters are ‘in’ currently. Or as ‘in’ as they could be. Never really saw this much coverage on fighters on multi-genre sites.

Oh and VF is still in WCG lol (God bless it, even though it’s the old version :/). Popularity doesn’t exactly mean a spot in WCG.

1up posted a preview and at the end there is sad news: “I didn’t get to try KOF12’s netcode for online matchmaking, but Bettenhausen clarifies that the game will not use the popular GGPO code.”

I hope this doesn’t necessarily mean “it’ll use the classic bullshit input delay crap netcode”

Tekken and SoulCali have always sold well, so it doesn’t count. What I meant was 2D fighters anyway.
