Who said anything about an M rating?

Isn’t that what comes after T?

The last page or so had a long winded discussion as to whether XII could, in fact have O.G. “Me Bouncy” in it.

This was due in large to a kotaku article, and someone actually giving it merit.

meh anyway, Thanks to DarKaoZ from S-C. He posted an Excerpt from Game Informer and Ignition about XII. Mainly talks about the online modes and Filters

Wow, guess I’m going to have to make an apology to sugarboy in CX then. Now I’m officially jealous of the PS3 version.

Did you actually even read the article? No one is suggesting KOF XII would have an M rating if Mai was in it. It’s what’s no in the ESRB description that has people worried. Just check the ESRB website.

Compare that to

etc…

The lack of “Suggestive Themes,” or the “bouncing breasts” part in the descriptor is what’s concerning with regards chances of Mai being in it. I don’t see what the article being on Kotaku has to do with that.

Clan Support sounds like a software-born replacement for the 360 Party system, in the chat respect. This doesn’t really make me jealous as a 360 owner, I mean, for once, the PS3 has a STRENGTH going for it with the online play of a shared console game! Considering 360 people have been able to tout their system-wide party features and all on all other games, this is pretty fair, y’know?

I know there was some mention about Team battle mode, will this offer the playablity of Clan support, minus the chatroom and such? Of course, I’d like for it to, but who knows so far…

8 player lobbies seems wonderfully excessive, but if it works, that’s cool. I guess it could have a positive impact on sales, since EVERYONE will be able to watch your fight, more people might be likely to purchase it (potentially).

In reguards to Mature: “She also posesses some powerful Anti-Air flip Kicks”…? That doesn’t sound like anything we’ve seen in the latest trailer (unless it’s her flip slash.) Awesome new normal? New special move? 2nd DM? Who knows! But at least it sounds pretty interesting…

Yes, yes I did read the article.

Mai’s bounciness is suggestive… of big breasts.

Nothing more.

To not have them bounce would be idiocy, and bad physics to boot.

Has the West truly devolved so far as to assert that an endowed female figure moving amidst the force of gravity is “suggestive”?

Because that is just plain fucking retarded.

that reminds me

kof 2k2 is the only kof where mai boobs don’t move

the fuck was that eolith

interesting some of the online features were i DOA2:U

I think he’s just mistaken the qcf+P move for a kick. I hope it’s a new move though 'cause she doesn’t have many at the moment.

Perhaps Mai will be back but in a less revealing costume (much like Mature). It doesn’t really fit with the whole re-birth thing though…

I just found out about KOFXii, and it looks badass. How easy will this game be from people starting out? I know SFVI is kind of noob friendly w/ shortcuts and etc. This game looks like it requires very fast reflexes, and top notch execution.

Tekken 5 DRO also has 8 player lobbies. Most people just use 4~6. But it’s good that we have the option. And lol @ their cheapshot towards SF4 “lonely lobbies”.

Also Clan Mode ftw.

Shit, I wonder if they’ll release clan mode for 360, and Trueskill or whatever for PS3 eventually. That’d be nice.

I’m pretty freakin’ hyped up for XII :woot: :woot:

If Mai doesn’t make it, that sucks, but hopefully we’ll still get K’!

I don’t need anymore characters, I pretty much want to main the whole cast right now. All they need to do is fix arcade mode. Time trials sounds so bad.

Havent read much of those descriptions but from ones you posted they dont seem very consistent.

Take 98 for example, Ralf drinks before every fight, King drinks before every fight, Chin is drunk all the fcking time. Yet it doesn`t have Alcohol Reference listed while other two examples do.

And where exactly Orochi saga had partial nudity while KoF XI lacked it?

Its grasping at straws and nothing else. I mean Mature is less suggestive because her boobs arent bouncing? Please. I`d take her, or Vice, over Mai any day.

In no way is it fair. The PS3 gets a 6 player clan mode, where there are two teams of 3 players, each taking control of one character.

360 doesn’t get this mode. How is that fair? I would love to team up with two other people and take on other teams of three. It’d be awesome if you were fighting last and your two teammates get destroyed, but then you come back and destroy all three of your opponents and claim victory for your side.

Who wouldn’t want to have an experience like that?

I’m pretty sure ‘clan’ mode is the 3 on 3 mode where each player controls 1 character.

Yup. I would kill for this feature on 360.

When interviewers uncover stuff like this it pisses me off that they never ask, “Why?”

Yes, I talked about the “Gameplay” side of clan support (6 person fights) and the “Chat” side (Which is pretty much a SNK-created system that mimics the functionality of 360’s Party chat.)

I’m not saying it wouldn’t be fun, but often times, 360 gets the best of the online experience, such as people speaking of the better network play of SSFIITHDR on 360, or how they miss the parties and global chat features of 360, when they go from something like Halo 3 to Resistence 2.

Sony’s online structure is a more expensive thing to work for (Since it requires developers to set up their own network infrastructure), where as Live has more “Out of the box” features (Such as Trueskill Rankings, Party chat/Party invite features, and Peer-to-Peer hosting). Even as a 360 owner, I’m just saying I’m happy to see PS3 online get a bonus feature, because it really seems like PS3 online, being free to the players, but not to the developers, ends up with the Ps3 owners normally get kinda shortchanged.

I’m happy to see SNKP working with both systems online strengths and weaknesses in mind.

And I remember seeing a listing for Team battle mode, when creating game lobbies. What I was stating, was if anyone knows if Team Battle mode will offer the same “Gameplay” side of the Clan feature (enabling each character to be played by a different person), because that could be a possibility. If so, it’d just mean that the PS3 version has a mode built around a feature it’s OS doesn’t support (Parties that can be moved from lobbies with minimal effort, global chat), while the 360 would be able to let it’s proprietary OS features handle getting friends together, talking about strategy, and keeping everyone along for the ride as you shift rooms.

That’s because we pay for our online service. I think it’s very justified that we should get extra and or better features than a free service.

I sure hope so. I pay for Xbox live. I want the best online experience possible.

If PSN players are getting a better feature than us and it’s FREE, then I will not be happy.
