When I registered around 10:05am (it didn’t show up at 10am exactly, so it took a few minutes to show up) I was number 46 to register and I got a conformation number as well.

Shen can use a super (i think it’s just his punch super) after the uppercut followup from dash punch; the command is just qcf, qcf+p

you can actually do D crack shoot for more damage

Does Andy’s Kuhadan(HCF+kick) cancel actually hit kinda like a SF4 shoryuken FADC or is it just a fake cancel similar to Ryu’s fake fireball move? Also what is up with all the unnecessary spamming of basics and specials? Whenever the guy who played Andy would land a cr. C or a st. C, how come he didn’t cancel it into a Hishoken or Zaneikan for chip damage?

Leebee Link: can u please translate clark’s??? i’m not gonna get my hands on this until console release… so i’ll just be playing '94-XI with clark for no reason until then… so at least the best thing i can do in the mean time is hope for more clark video footage and of course if u can help me out that be great…

Oh yeah, you’re right about that. Daimon never does his close D animation so it’s always the far one, and AFAIK it’s not bufferable. It varies by character, I think MOST characters have bufferable neutral C and D attacks but definitely not all. Just trying to make sense of these changes.

Andy’s hcf+K feint cancel does hit once, you can use it in juggles after a chained CD in the corner.

As to why not everyone is buffering all their attacks… uh, not everyone playing the game is super pro I guess? Hishoken sure, but nobody’s going to buffer every crouching C into a Zaneiken anyway since you’re not always going to have it charged (and Zaneiken seemed pretty punishable on block from the one time I played Andy. Maybe that was just the C version though…). Andy might be “spamming” standing C’s trying to fish for a Critical Counter, who knows. Give people a break though, the game’s only been there for a week with a lot of little changes in the engine that people have to figure out, and the joysticks in that cabinet kinda suck.

And although it probably wasn’t the player’s intent, keep in mind that landing a counter-hit stagger with standing or crouching C can potentially lead to a free combo. It’s definitely possible for some characters to followup a stagger with an immediate hyperhop into the combo of their choice.

Can he still link his close s.b to close s.c ala kof11? Did any of those types of links return for this edition of kof or did they all get scrapped?

Has any body ask the TILT owner where did he get the game from and how much was it. My local arcade owner just asked me those questions.

Am I the only one to have noticed that Kyo seems to have lost the big black outline around his fire effects? :confused:

What’s with the confused face? I’ve noticed it but it’s not worth mentioning because it’s such a small detail. To me anyway.
