Looks like Duolon can cr.B, cr.A, f+A or B into super, cool.

Inputs in KOF XII are like in 2D games or moves are easier to do like in SF IV? (sry for my english)

It also looks like raiden can feint cancel his tackle, like andy can his spinning kick. Also Shen Woo has lots of shit I haven’t seen yet…

so Its Raiden, Joe, and Andy that have breakings. Technically Shen too since he can cancel his charge punch.

SFIV uses the same input methods as 2d fighters. only difference is all grapplers grabs are half circles like Abel instead of full circles like Zangief

No, its easier to do Shoryuken in SF IV, in SF2T for example its diffrent and u need more precision. I dont know exactly what they did with it in SF IV but I hope SNK left KOFXII inputs old school.

what id like to know is this game as vanilla as it seems or is there a hidden dephtness to it im not seeing? some people having only 2 moves is like the gayest thing ever in a kof. characters look half assed/half complete to be honest. theres just way too much shit missing for me. not that i wont be playing it. but that doesnt mean i cant bitch about shit that SHOULD have been in there. can anybody imagine ryu without dp with only firebal and huricane? thats pretty much XII from the looks of it. and i had such high hopes for it. like i said, the moment XIII gets released people will be shitting on this and nobody will ever touch it again. i just hope snkp can make enough money with this to justify XIII. but then again, like any decent company they should at least make a product that most can appreciate. not some half assed new generation type of shit.

@ gasgan. if the moves had been as precise as ssf2t nobody would be doing combods online. the timewindow is bigger to pull moves off. making them easier. otherwise with even slight online lag moves would be impossible.

Thats like our first impressions. It looks cheesy and incomplete but its still a kof system at heart. The parry / counter system make up for the lack of moves pretty well. And its still real fun to play.
Is anything completely broken yet?

seems to me that some people are judging too quickly and they havent even played the game yet , by the looks of the vids everything seems fine to me.

the breaking moves seem interesting as I play Garou heavily, if it works like the ones in garou then this is gonna be too awesome:rock:

Its kinda funny how Garou failed but now both KOF12 (feints, breaks, counter hits) and SFIV (breaks) looked to it for inspiration.

Trust me man, SNK of old is gone. I was SNK fanatic since FF3 myself. Playmore fucked up too many shit… Playmore’s Samsho(6) is a fuckin festival for gods sake. Let that legendary SNK go. For a Playmore this is one of their better attempt.

motw came in a period when 2d fighters where dying. the best of the best where being released then, lb2, kof 98, motw, sf3ts, vs. too many quality titles. but since the sceene was dying shit didnt matter anywayz. one of the reasons motw and sf3ts failed. not cause of the quality, but cause it was dying anywayz. out of fasshion. also motw hasnt got nearly enough characters. we needed at least 4 more. ofcourse 6 to 8 more would have been perfect.

edit: @ fatal fury d, that doesnt mean they cant make better games. im already used to not getting the best bg’s, best bgm and best hraphics cause of snkp. they coult at the very least make sure the game plays good and complete. i mean thats the very least they could do.

and i know what you mean. i was in the neo scene after i gave up on sf2 and its many sequals that where basically the same. in the golden era of SS2 and FFS, shit i remember i hated kof94 when it got released and only got into kof AFTER 95. basically i bought 94 and hardly ever played it. unlike 95, i gave up on ff3 cause this one came out. shit i gave up on all other games after this one. too bad SS started dying around these times. SS3 was a big disapointment if you was really into 2 like i was. ss4 and all the games after it never really reached that pinackle. and that was snk, not snkp.

Well, for starters, Yamazaki is by far the most interesting KOF character I have ever seen. I try to use him in CvS2, but I’m kinda lost on how he can be played effectively.

How about one of you fellows give me some names of famous players who use him? Or a particular match, anything like that would be nice.

am just pulling ya leg, yamazaki is awesome though hes always in my team in KOF (if hes in the game)
