I don’t think they can handle a black man in High Definition, Lukas.
If they put Geese in the game I’m gonna break the game with him…
not if they put yamazaki in there as well. ima break yo ass right back dg:wonder:.
A non-sucky Yamazaki is just what I need right now.
Why do you like Yamazaki so much? I never really liked him at all…
Because he’s fun as hell to play with and has some of the most grimiest moves you can do to a person
such as rubbing their face in the dirt and dragging them.
I like playing with him too in CvS and KOF:98
no, more like slamming you to the ground, goin’ straight gully on yo ass, then picking you up by your head WITH HIS GOD DAMN TEETH and throwing you away like trash.
With all that aside, to me its the snake arm cancel that defines Yamazaki…
It allows many things possible…
(100% in 2002, long comboes in RB1 etc)…
all the reasons mentioned and then some. i liked him since FF3 back in 95. hes a favorite of mine in every game hes in. a true villain but on the level of awesomenes of terry or genjuro (yeah, wrong game). lets not even get started about his style of gameplay. ive got fond memories of mindgaming/raping people with him in the RB and KOFS. especially in kof 97/98 with its rush down style yama really owns hard, getting them in mad pressure and start turtling only to get drilled is always a fun thing to do.
p.s. how many awesome bad guys do you know in fighters played out in modern times? yamazaki, sagat, gouki, geese…thats pretty much it IMO. theres some cool ones, like krauser or urien (why the damn thong?), but awesome ones? anybody notice the lack of bad guys in XII (dont even go there calling ash evil).
Ash isn’t evil, he’s just kinda gay.
I doubt Iori would count as evil, more like psycho.
All I’m asking for is NESTS Kyo and the Orochi Team.
Ash IS evil. He was created with the idea of being an attractive evil character. Besides, even WITHOUT that tidbit from the people who designed him, his in-game plot hijinks (stealing people’s powers and sacred items for his own personal use) fall far from acts of good.
You’d think they would incorporate that with new moves designed showing off the stealing of Iori’s flame.
Next is Kyo’s i’m guessing they are building it up to make him the boss in the next KOF
Maybe, but I still wouldn’t consider that "evil"
He just does what he wants w/o a care, most bad guys have an alterior motive.
He’s just a troublemaker, Iori looks wierd enough w/o flames, I wonder how Kyo would be.
Give them props though, Iori has been the same char since 1995 (with subtle changes each game), now he finally gets a new twist.
I always got the feeling Ash was scheming something bigger, and stealing the mirror(?) and Ioris flames was part of this. I don’t see him collecting the three anti-orochi treasures/clan powers(or whatever they are) just on a whim.
On the other hand, he could turn out to be an anti-hero rather than a bad guy and doing all this to defeat the mysterious people that have been bosses lately. I recall something about him acting like he knew them.
But it doesn’t seem like he has plans to summon Orochi.
He might, but if he succeeds he’s gonna get possessed (ROTB Ash lol)
I’ll guess we will eventually find out.
hey guys isnt this game supposed to be out inapril in arcades, maybe console.
Probably will be the first year that I dont use Iori. I really dislike his new design and the moves that were given. I imagined some sick moves now that he lost his flames. Instead we got…
I don’t hate the new design, but I’m disappointed that they didn’t make use of the creative potential they had to turn the idea of flameless Iori into a new icon.
Flameless Iori to me looks like just another Freeman…a close cousin lol.
Sad but true. The new design is not an improvement.
