I’m going to start hosting weeklies at a house now. I am shooting for either Weds or Thur. I will make a thread on it. I want this to be like Ramnation and also a central spot for Stockton/209/central valley, etc etc. I was doing this some odd years ago but I fallen off once I graduated school and started to work. Now I have a lot of free time on my hands and I’ll help whoever out since we NEED a spot to meet/practice. I’ll be making phone calls to the usual people, and if I don’t have your number and you are really interested, please shoot me a pm with your name and number and I will call you right away with the info.
Eventually I want us to start streaming our weekly meets and turn everyone who plays around here into killers. The spot is central to anyone in Stockton since it’s located a block away from uop, almost near the old Knice lab. neighborhoods nice, clean, quiet, and peaceful. Trying to go to the church near by so I can ask them to use their parking lot on off hours seeing as we will probably be playing at nights. The really strong players around here usually don’t play till nightfall.

planning on going to san jose next thursday to play if anyone else wants to go. we are planning on opening a spot in merced to play aswell its an hour from fresno and stockton so central valley towns could possibly meet up better than driving 2 hours to either spot

New to the FGC (kinda). I played CvS2 and Tekken, but never really competitive. Started playing with SF4 but I’m more of a MvC3 player. Trying to get more involved in the community, but my Fall semester started just last week so I’m trying to iron out how often/when I can go out to play (From Salida, so Stockton isn’t too far, but it’s still a drive). I’m always down for some XBL though, so if anyone wants to play feel free to Friend me on XBL (My Evo 8 You). I see that there is going to be a tournament at TGN, I’m going to try to make it but I have an all-day commitment the day before so I don’t even know if I’ll be awake haha.

Haha, trust me I know all about that. I used to run sets with an MLG Caliber Halo 2/3 team (some going as long as a week straight with only short sleep breaks) and after the first few days I just wasn’t able to concentrate on anything. But I’m not really in it to win it, I just want to try to level up and meet some new people.
And I’ll think about the Merced tourney, I haven’t played BB or Tekken in a while but if I have the time/money I’ll show up just for the hell of it.
