The National Gang Center did a report that includes the information from 2012 UCR dataset.

It may be that you are accounting for 75% of all gang related violence accounts for firearms, which is more accurate than what you are presenting. It’s a sizable chunk (around 15% for all homicide) but it’s no where near the overall majority.

Rural america has the highest concentration of gun ownership, amd its some of the safest areas in the US relative to homicide and violent crime. The most heavily armed city in the US, a town in Georgia is statiatically thr safeat city in the US.

The correlation with guns only exists in shithole inner city areas with underperforming demographics. Baltimore, strict gun regulations, higheat per capita death. Chicago, heaby resteictions, extremely high. Washington DC, heavy regulations, high death ratio. La, steict no conceal carry allowed, extremely high death rate.

Lets look at switzerland, inly nation with a higher ownership of weapons tham the us on a individual capita basis. They even allow real automatic weapons to be ourchased and kept at home. No problems. No mass shootings, no real gang violence problems.

Canada ised to have lax gun laws, and allowed people to own weapons. Never had the same problem we had in thr states. Its a demographic problem, not angun problem, demographic. The data proves this.
