The 2020-21 NBA Thread: Raptors in 7

Didn’t the Celtics beat the 76ers earlier this year with Embiid playing? And throughout Boston’s streak they played ugly and had to come back from double digit deficits. Sometimes even in the fourth

Yep, but that was before the Sixers gelled - we were integrating Simmons, Embiid, Redick, Fultz, etc and the second game of our season. Like I said certain players like Brown just had a bad game, but their bench is back to playing like everyone expected them to play. Watch that game last night and tell me the Sixers wouldn’t have won that game with Embiid - who the Sixers insist on resting even though he feels great. Heck, we would’ve won if McConnell were playing.

How good is Fultz?

I have heard nothing about him but tons of praise for Embied and Simmons.

Still think Fox will be the best PG from this draft but havent been following every team that closely.

Fultz is out with a shoulder issue. :s

Dumb Colangelo made things worse by having him play with it for the first week or so of the season. He should’ve never been on the floor. My theory is that he realized too late that Ainge jobbed him and tried to cover it by having him play - hoping the shoulder would heal with daily treatment. This is why I was worried when we traded for the #1 pick. Not because I think Ainge is unbeatable in a trade, but Colangelo can’t beat him in a trade.

Fox has been trash.

*The Sixers are doing the right thing with Embiid. If you get 60-70 games of him playing 32 minutes per game duing the regular season then that’s a big boon to your franchise. That much playtime from Embiid is enough to be the 5th to 3rd seed in the east for the next few years. You want him healthy for the next few years of playoff runs.

Healthy Simmons and Embiid will be the most potent 1-2 punch in the East if all goes well. *

can’t watch the Grizz…shits sad…I believe looking at their schedule, the losing streak can very well swell to 15…

This is dejavu from when I saw Hassan get garbage time minutes in his first Heat season. I saw it right away but Spoelstra didn’t make him part of the rotation until a month later.

At least Bam is a starter now while Whiteside is hurt.

fuck the Lornets

Maybe they’re doing the opposite of the last few seasons where instead of starting off good before sliding into mediocrity, they’re starting off mediocre to end up great.

idc, fire clifford and get fizz or mark jackson. Our offense is highschool levels of bad

Donovan Mitchell is the 2nd best rookie this year.

I don’t know if we’ll ever see Mark Jackson coach again. Apparently some of the behind the scenes stuff he did with the Warriors has GMs and owners hesitant to hire him.

Harden dribbling is a work of art,

He makes the game look so easy you wonder why everyone isn’t scoring 30 points a game.

I been saying Spoelstra cost Lebron 2 championships. Glad Lebron aint there no more LOL!

Oh believe me I’ve watched all the Harden highlights this season. I’m copying the way he moves, everything is so fluid. He’s really good at dribbling and does it very simple compared to curry and kyrie

Fuck… this is messed up. I actually have to agree with you on something. This hurts.

His speed is what blows my mind and the way he can jump like he does. I’m roughly the same height and weight as him and I couldn’t move like him if a million dollars was on the line. I suppose that’s why athletes are athletes but it does make you a bit jealous.

Embiid backing up his shit talk to everybody so far this season.
