Walton didn’t help the cause with his lineups. Starters should have been Ball/Clarkson/Ingram/Randle/Lopez. Ball didn’t even know who/where to pass to because he doesn’t know everybody’s spots yet. Deng should not be a starter ever anymore, and Nance is an energy guy off the bench.
Getting KCP back should help a little.
Luke is stubborn, the starters should have been either what you stated or Ball/Brewer/Ingram/Kuzma/Lopez. Deng is garbage and Nance has shown little to no improve since he came into the league. Randle and Kuzma are vastly better players and should be getting the majority of minutes in the rotation.
Usually I’m hyped for Suns vs Lakers but man, that opening night immediately sucked my enthusiasm out of the new season.
I like the fact that Ball had his head up looking for his teammates as soon as he got the inbound pass or rebound.
I dislike that Lavar is still getting interviews and shit. If the logic behind that is “people like him” well then have pornstars host news while wearing G Strings cause guess what we all like

I can see it both ways. Yes, it is just his first game (against Beverly, nonetheless), but LaVar pumped him up a lot so expectations are high and everyone has eyes on him.
Additionally, no matter what Lavar or media says, there has to be some pressure on Lonzo’s head for his own family expectations. Even if that idiot hadn’t said anything to the press, you know that what happens between doors must be some real parenting bullshit (RE: Lamelo)
