Are the Bengals that bad?
I’m seeing highlights of them making Deshaun Watson, look like Prime Ron Mexico.
Marvin Lewis may actually get the pink slip this year.
its the offense, the defense is actually not that bad, but then again they have faced the ravens and texans, neither of those teams have an explosive offense. but dam that offense is so putrid, like holy shit its terrible.
*This is a great start to the season for us, if Marvin keeps it up he’ll force the owner to fire him. Which has been long overdue. I’m all for this. *
Hue knew how to play to Dalton’s strengths. Now that he’s gone the bengals have that shit on the field.
I feel bad for AJ Green
Bengals have a bunch of good players. Geno Atkins is one of the best there is.
Texans defense can lock you down some nights, it is not as good as the Ravens, but clearly they are trying to get Marvin Lewis fired so yeah. Andy Dalton has playmakers around him so I dunno. They can just keep losing, I don’t mind at all :lol
Just remind Ephidel that his beloved Ravens lost to a one-legged RG3. No Super Bowl victory can wash that away.

I refuse to believe Lewis gets fired until I see it happen. Just feels like he’s got more of a chance of getting extended after this than the pink slip.
I would be shocked if Lewis didn’t resign at the end of the season if not fired. That Brother seems more tired then anyone of having to deal with the team.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bengals took a new QB at this rate. There will probably be a real rush on them given the 9ers, Browns, Jets all need one and the Cardinals can likely throw their hat in that ring.
The problem is…who? There’s no QB they can go after, and as bad as the team is, they aren’t bad enough to get a high draft pick for one to beat out all the other teams in need.
The second they decide to dump Dalton, if they don’t immediately find an answer, that means rebuilding time and AJ Green on the trading block.
Dunno man, someone with a longer rebuild might trade top pick. They could look for a Wilson/Prescott in the 2,3,4 as well.
Also some random stats,
We all know the Texans had no right winning that game. They started a rookie quarterback, suited up 1 tight end (off the practice squad) and only three receivers without their Mike linebacker or left tackle available. What makes it even more incredolous is the Texans have never won a Thursday night game on the road in franchise history and the last one they won at all was in 2012.
Even crazier the Texans have beat the Bengals 3 times in a row. They’ve scored 10 pts, 12 pts and 13 pts. 3 wins, 35 pts of total offensive output in three hours worth of game time.
You guys know they have a guy named Aj McCarron right who is likely better than Dalton and they refused to trade him which would indicate they are ready to at least test him if Dalton had another low level campaign. I think he might be starting by week 5 at this point. If not just draft a QB every year till something sticks. The Bengals need to let Lewis go not just because he sucks(he does) but they need a culture change badly. I know a few Bengals fans and they like the idea of just rebuilding because its better than just being a 6-8 win team year in year out. They have so many good players they should not be this bad.
Yeah you attack the Ravens a lot too but that’s cool the Redskins will be in last place in their division like always. You should be concentrating on the Cowboys stomping you guys out every year.

Houston have some issues with roster construction but they have a lot of grit. Lots of high character guys that motivate the locker room which is really the only reason other than Watt they’ve had a winning record 3 years in a row with more QBs than the Browns.
The Bengals have the opposite of character guys. You’ve got guys like Vontaze Burfcit, Adam Jones and now Joe Mixon.
The lamb has been sacrificed.
