The 12th Cooperation Cup 2014 ~ 5v5 Team Battle [81 teams]

Nico handles the stream 100%

Like a 10 ppl staff come with a grip of cameras, microphones, and laptops from nico.

It’s the only realistic way to stream something like this for the 3s community.

Japan doesn’t have ipw or something like that.

So please support nico and coop!

I bought a premium ticket for this weekend!

Anyone how how to downgrade from premium to regular account on Nico? Since it charges me monthly for premium but I only use Premium to watch this tournament. My payment method is PayPal.

You need niconico account (regular or premium) to watch stream.
It’s better you get premium account (525 yen/month).
If you have only regular account, you can’t watch live stream when there are many viewers.

There are several articles introducing how to get regular and premium account like below.

There are several ways to downgrade from premium to regular account if you use paypal.

  1. Remaining amount in your paypal account is lower than 525 yen.
  2. You stop pre-approved payments through Paypal.

With timeshift reservation, you can watch live after it’s finished.

Thank you fore_remy for the information. I just upgraded my nicovideo account to premium, it was fairly easy

I’m sorry it may seem like a dumb question but to sum it up, I just timeshifted Pre-Coop Cup and Coop Cup so…

  1. Once the events are over, I can watch any of them in LIVE condition? That means no spoiler risk and such right?
  2. Would I be able to access the tournaments streaming archives afterwards, this time in NON-LIVE condition which means being able to fast-forward to any point of the video?

Thanks.

I think there is no spoiler risk in timeshift.
Watching timeshift is similar to recorded videos in Twitch so you can fast-forward.

Please enjoy.

I think I should explain the tournament format for those who need it.

[Pre-Coop] 54 registered teams + 1 last chance qualifier

  1. 1st round: 55 teams split into 14 blocks. 14 1st placed teams advance to Final 16. 14 2nd placed teams go to Play-off.
  2. Play-off: each of 14 2nd placed teams choose 3 players to compete in the single elimination 3on3 tournament. Last 2 teams advance to Final 16.
  3. Final 16: Single Elimination

[Cooperation Cup] 80 registered teams + 1 last chance qualifier

  1. 1st round: 81 teams split into 27 blocks. 27 1st placed teams advance to 2nd round. 27 2nd placed teams go to Play-off.
  2. 2nd round: 27 1st placed teams from 1st round split into 9 blocks. 9 1st placed teams advance to Final 16. Other 18 teams go to Play-off.
  3. Play-off: 27 1st round’s 2nd placed teams + 18 2nd round’s 2nd & 3rd placed teams form 45 slots. Each team must pick ONLY ONE player from their team to compete at this 45-men single elimination to choose last 7 remaining players. Those 7 players’ teams advance to Final 16.
  4. Final 16: Single Elimination.

Thanks hismit for these explanations.

It appears Nico have put the time shift up for last years Coop Cup without needing a premium to watch it, I’ve uploaded a lot of it already but not all of it

That format is brutal
