The players who placed top 8 most times are:
K.O (10 times)
Boss (9 times)
Ochibi (8 times)
K.O curse is still in full effect though since he never placed first. Ochibi never won either, and Boss won only once.
An olympics-like medal table for the top 8 placements puts Raoh at first place with 3 wins and 3 5th places, outdoing Deshiken’s 3 times 1st, 1 5th
Nuki places 3rd with 2 wins, 1 second place and 3 5th places
All characters but Sean reached top 8 several times
of those, only Ryu, Alex and Remy never took 1st place
CoopCup11 was a first time win for both Necro and Twelve

I really felt like between the last time I was here in 2010 and now I had improved a lot, but as always, they progress faster than us. Sorry to perform so poorly for you guys 
I highly recommend 3s fans try to attend Coop Cup. I thought I had attended some great tournaments in the past (SBO, post SBO celebration tournament, SBO Last Chance Qualifier) but Coop Cup has definitely been the most special to me, even if my own performance was a major bummer. I’m happy I was at least an amusing site on the stream haha. I hope when I get home I can post some scans of the Coop Cup booklet that they give out to the teams. It’s really cool!

The Ken is Hirai, the Hugo is 命 (Life?) and the Chun is Koshun. That 3rd place team seems quite familiar now…

After watching king ghidora v number one gouki; even though he lost, Im convinced Match is the smartest gouki player.
How would you guys rate Haitani’s play style? His Makoto appears very awkward to a low level player like me. Is he trying to bait out stuff or is he just playing a very defensively? It seems like he just takes hits until he has no health left and is forced to go in. Also, he needs to bring back that duck earring he use to wear.
Haitani’s always in my top 3 Makotos, along with Mimora and Momochi

- dirty played Oro or Urien (he played Urien in the seed ranking battles).
- Momochi Yun or Mak?
- Boss (same question as Momochi’s?). He played Yun in seed battle but if he used Yun in CC8 his team would be illegal (or Nitto using another character?).
- Nemui & Kyashii’s characters?
- Boss used Makoto
- Momochi was Makoto
- I saw Dirty play Oro
- Nemui = Ken and Kyashii = Alex
I remember downloading Coop Cup 4 DVD rip back in the day. Those videos changed my life. Still have them on my old lap top… Wish the vids were online.
I have the first Coop on VHS as well. Kanimajin might be Aruka judging from the picture on the VHS box.

I recorded footage of coop8, but Matsuda-san asked me not to upload it and instead buy the dvd.
I know its been like 3 years now, but I still cant upload those matches…I’m afraid he’ll send the Co-op Deathsquad to my house.
I had bits and pieces of Coop Cup 7 from one of the Arcadia magazines. It was mainly highlights of Top 4, but MOV and Kokujin wrecked the shit out of everyone. Two highlights are MOV making a fool out of KO, and Kokujin making a HUGE comeback on Raoh.
