Method Man is the best fighting game character. Not only was he in the Def Jam games he was also in the shitty Wu-Tang one from 99.
He perfectly willing to fight dirty at that.
Never knew meth fought dirty. If the game is anything to go by though. Redman is the filthiest of fighters.
So are guys telling me that even if Wolverine and Magneto are one of the most popular male characters in Marvel vs Capcom games, you will not include them in your top 10 greatest male characters in fighting games?
Pretty much.
Yep. Because when most talk fighting game characters. We are talking about characters that were designed for the purpose of being in a fighting game first and foremost. Their origins and popularity all stem from fighting games. But when one starts allowing characters to be called fighting game characters simply because they appeared in one. Well as you see from our example, shit starts to get pretty silly to the point where if the average person had their way. Top “fighting game characters” would be Mario, Sonic, Kratos, Superman etc. And actual fighting game characters like Ryu, Scorpion etc would be ignored.
Dylan is an infamous guy from one of P-Diddy’s shows that ran around the early to mid 2000’s(I don’t know the name but it’s basically on the reality TV/Working for the rich guy type shows in that era) who was an infamous diva. So much so that in the Chapelle Show, Dave basically played as him and basically created the meme I referenced and took those diva antics up to eleven.
The show was Making The Band. They even managed to actually release a single after the end of the season. it was a decent hit but nothing more from them after that. Also Missy Elliot and other started biting Diddy’s style and each started coming out with their own shows like That Get on the Bus thing with Missy. PussyCat Dolls had one too.
Can we just ignore this list and start talking about Overwatch girls?

No.
The fighting game has to be popular and the character has to be a popular fighting game character too. Those are too things that must be considered.
That’s why most characters on the top 10 list are coming from the most popular fighting games.
Stupid shit
LMAO
(1.)-(10.) Morrigan
Hell, she’s the GOAT of vg fictional characters.
Indisputable fact. To deny it is to lie to ya’self. Don’t do that.
Long live the Demon Queen
I love anime fighting games and think some characters from games like Blazblue (Noel & litchi), Guilty gear (Millia Rage) should be included.
I have a bit of an, I don’t want to say unorthodox since they’re popular scharacters, but less common taste I suppose. I always preferred the SNK style of character, where it’s less bubbly and girly and more serious fighter. Not to say that SNK doesn’t have their fair share of T&A or happy-go-lucky schoolgirls (Nakoruru, Mai and Athena are pretty much the female faces of the company, after all), but they also have a significantly larger share of women who look like fighters who just happen to be women. King, Vice, Mature, Vanessa, Leona and post-XI Elizabeth spring to mind.
And while I’m not a super huge fan of the whole fighting highschooler thing, one of my absolute favorite characters ever is Hinako from KoF. Mainly because of the absolute absurdity in taking a tiny blonde girl in a pretty dress and giving her a sumo moveset. The same kind of shoutout goes to demon girl with teddybear in Vanguard Princess. While not as funny as sumo, a tiny girl busting out Stone Cold Stunners is pretty funny too.

You’ve been here for a year. Only had one post. And this is the thread that gets you to make your second post ever? I mean by no means am I dismissing your point. It’s a good one and I agree. Although I do prefer the more girlish characters seen in other fighters. I respect the hell out of SNK female character designs. Like when someone tries to talk crap about “females are sex objects in fighting games” Street Fighter and KOF are the first games I bring up to refute that claim.
