OF COURSE that doesn’t mean sh*t. Character vs. Character doesn’t prove an overall better. Wouldn’t the person who defeats the most players and the most characters be the better Elena user?
At least Mopreme feels better, I suppose. But Combofiends tourney placings with Elena clearly show his superiority.
See, the stupid thing about character vs. character match-ups is that the losing party can easily turn things around and copy the other person and it can continue on an endless cycle. One copy leads to another copy and so on. Retarded. Especially when were talking supers like Brave Dance. We’re not talking a common character that everyone would have experience with like say, shoto vs. shoto or Chun vs. Chun.
Combofiend is the best Elena user judging from results. Although, Mopreme can say he’s better at Elena vs. Elena. That’s about it, heheh.
If Mopreme wants that title then he needs to go to MWC and out-perform Peter in the 3s tourney with Elena. Then again, Peter could come in with a different character for that tourney and make that, well, inconclusive. I suppose with parries, character vs. character match-ups may hold a bit more water(although parrying is universal and can help out any character) and, seeing how this is the 2000’s, if anyone has anything original, it’s gonna get bitten instantly. Nowadays, with info so readily available, innovators don’t stand out as much since matches go online and everyone can copy shit. No one really cares about who created the style or tricks so, now it only comes down to who practices more and seeks out the most info.
I’m not trying to be offensive. I’m just giving it straight, from my perspective.
Mopreme is probably just better at 3s overall, atm. He’s been exclusive to that game for years to the best of my knowledge.
I’ve seen plenty of Elena players but, Peter’s the one US player that’s made her stand out, imo. Heheh, not that my opinion matters at all.
I’m assuming the challenge was made in fun though. Otherwise, I’d say to get real and outperform in the next tourney:)
