The DVD kickoff tournament is postponed until next week, we’re having a normal weekly this week.

Due to FR8 and ranma being out of town the week after the official dvd kickoff tournament will be held on 4/29/05. This is the FINAL date. The Texas Showdown DVD staff (moi + lled88 ) are working very hard to meet the deadline, hope everyone understands and thanks for the support.

At the tournament, we changed the format to 2/3 winners for all tournaments, but single game for losers bracket.
The overall prize is determined by a point system. You get points for getting top 5 in a tournament. Players with the most points get prizes.
1st - 10 points
2nd - 8 points
3rd - 6 points
4th - 4 points
5th - 2 points
Overall prizes
1st - Japanese SvC Stick
2nd - Poster, Showdown Extras DVD
3rd - Tags, TBA
Individual Tournaments
1st - 80% of the cash pot
2nd - poster

Is it $5 a game or $5 and enter as much as you want? Either way I am there.

$5 registration
$5 per game(if you’re entering a tournament))
You can go to play casual if you want, you still have to pay $5 to Stargate. Tournaments are $5 a game seperate from the Stargate fee.
If it’s ok with Ranma, I’d like to make sure Reload does happen. So I’ll be bringing a PS2 or two, some sticks, run the brackets, and maybe throw in some extra random prizes to help turnout.
