I bought the first Astro City off Poonage to play 3s. Its plug and play if you have the CPS3 kit with board, rom drive, cables, Sf3 3s disc and cart and cps2/3 kick harness. But MvC2 and CvS2 are both Naomi games. MvC2 is a cart game and CvS2 is a Gd-Rom game. You would need to peace together a whole Naomi system and wire it to work in an Astro as the Astro is Jamma and Naomi is Jamma2 or JVS = Jamma Video Standard. But since these are REALLY good deals on cabs you dont normally see I would still get one and play SF3 3s at first. Thats what I did.
okay poon, im going to shotgun the new astro provided you can tell me that the lights work (the ones that say new astro and stuff at the top of the cab) and gimme a quick picture of the cab.
I will send payment asap, and I should make a trip to austin sometime in august or this month to pick up the cab.

As far as the remaining Astros I have for sale, they haven’t even been unwrapped since we received them from Japan, but all of them have had working lights so far so this one shouldn’t be any different. If you come to Austin, I will unwrap it so we can fully test/demonstrate it working and then we can repackage it before you take it home. If the first Astro we unwrap does not have a working light, I will open another one and let you take that one.
Just keep me updated! Keep in mind that I will be in Japan for a while in August for SBO, but if you’re going to be in Austin then, I can have someone else meet you to complete the transaction.

at any rate. that sounds like a plan. if you are going to be in japan for sbo, isnt that the weekend of the 15 of aug?
i get paid on the fourteenth, so I was going to come up that weekend. If you will still be in Japan, I will come up the following weekend, for the 21st.

I mis-read the first time and thought you wanted a regular Astro. Yeah, I have only one New Astro left, and it works great, lights and everything. I’m going to be in Japan the weekend of the 15/16 of August for SBO, but if you can come on the 21st instead, I will be in town. If you would really prefer to come on the 15th instead, I can arrange for someone to meet you and deliver the cabinet if you can pay via Paypal or some other means up front.
The Versus is still available, and it is available for sale until I sell it.
