Can’t stress enough everyone should try and officially challenge on this thread or by Thursday e not showing up will lose their spot or anyone who has not played beforehand. Any forfeits change the rankings, but do not count as “official” matches.

Just let us know what days you plan on being in town. Assuming I am still second I would be happy to play. Cylus on the other hand lives in Oxford so he will need some lead time to plan to get up this way. He is usually here every other Wednesday for our fight nights though. Are you gonna be up here on Wed or on the weekend?

Fenix, you have to play Chris first before you play Phil. You can’t challenge #9 if you are in #10 by forfeit.

Eugene, you can’t challenge #1 and #2 of another region when you haven’t challenged #10 first, LOL

I’d like to challenge 10th on Saturday, if they go to the Cookeville tourney.

Cale: Phil isn’t going to the tourney, and the “week” begins after each Thursday, so if you are challenging him THIS week (which is BY this Thursday) you have to show up to GG to play Phil or arrange a way to play him before this Thursday. If you can ONLY play on Saturday, that is for the NEXT week’s rankings and Phil has the right to not accept or play up to the following Thursday, meaning he won’t have to forfeit.

Also, higher seeds get priority of where they want to play, so everyone will have to come to Phil in Murfreesboro, or meet at Game Galaxy on Thursday since he is not going to Cookeville Saturday.

Just to be clear, if I were hanging out with #10 at the arcade on Wednesday and I challenged him, he could say no without loss of rank. But if it were Thursday, he’d have to play me. Right?

Cale: Yes, he HAS to play you by Thursday…basically the loophole is this…someone shows up on Thursday to challenge him and he’s not here he’s going to lose his spot if he hasn’t defended it for the week. For everyone else it is different. We have one definitive challenge for Thursday, Eugene vs Patrick, but if other show up and no challenges were issued for the rest of the week, those players will lose their spots.

I know not everyone will like this, but the point is you have to PLAY each week or else this becomes stagnant and not a valid everchanging top 10…

I will say this though, if you challenge Phil since he is the higher seed it is on his terms of when/where convenient for him, but if nothing is convenient, THursday evening is the ultimatum day for everyone. (especially since you live so far)

Oh, and if NO ONE shows up, rankings don’t change for that week…

Eugene defeats Patrick by forfeit. No one came except Eugene and Shawn so the rankings don’t change much. On Saturday they probably will, LOL
