Yo, wanted to stop by and say thanks for coming out and putting on a strong showing. I was the guy running the SSF4 brackets. Sorry for all of the problems with the bracket. Max was right about Tonamento 2. That kinda screwed everything up. I would have rather use Tio, but ya know. I tried my best though to get the brackets rearranged. It’s not like we intentionally did the brackets that way. We only had about 60 entrants in Super and MVC3, so the brackets weren’t really that big. We tried seeding you guys based off of region. We made sure nobody had to play first round, but we really had no control of who won first or second round. So the computer moved everyone around on its own. I did move a few players around come 2nd and 3rd rounds, but I didn’t want to drastically change the brackets, so we were stuck with what we had. Come next time, we won’t have any of these problems. It was very stressful considering how hot it was and how late we were rolling. Not to mention having to yell over people and run around looking for people. That really sucked because the stress definitely affected my gameplay. But, we encourage you guys to give feedback on it, because we can’t fix it if we don’t know the problem exist. We are still a fairly new tournament and really don’t profit from this, so we are mainly doing this for you guys. We want to make this tournament one of the largest in the south and if you guys continue to show your support, we can achieve that goal. Once again, thanks guys.

I haven’t really been down in miami to chill with the crew since i moved back to memphis in 2008 so i haven’t exactly been keeping up with their scene too much. I do remember hearing about final round arcade tho just wasn’t sure where down in miami was located at.I did go down to ft.lauderdale a couple times since i’ve been back here but only to visit my sister so i haven’t gotten a chance to chill over there and game with everyone outside of majors. I’m sure the fl crew is still salty from the mvc3 rapings i gave them at final round last month lol.They turned down mm’s which i’m not surprised but then again when you rack up a 58 win streak on over 14 ppl i’m sure losing money is not an option

First off… If you weren’t there, then why the hell would you be saying anything??? Especially something other than a positive note/gesture! Seriously?
The ARK team did a fantastic job with that they had. Please remember that their tournaments are getting big and so are their growing pains. Which are good growing pains might I add! That is normal with anything in life basically. The bigger you get, the more that little problems come to light! As far as I am concerneed, since I was there, they did one hella of a job trying to get through everything!
Sign ups, crowd control, casuals, stream, food, actually running the tournaments, questions, answers, keeping the hype up, catering to the masses, etc…etc… Did these guys have alot on their plate? Yes they did and did a very good job at it! Sure their will be hiccups like anything else but SmokeMaxx, Weng, and Panda and crew trucked through it and the results were a great tournament!
Was it hot as fuck at the Venue? Yes! Does Tonamento sucks? Maybe! Did some Memphis peeps play early on in the singles tourney’s? Yes!
Last time I checked, life ain’t fucking perfect. Why would you expect to be a tournament ran by the community to be perfect?
