Oh, I’ve always said that you were the better player, man. Like I said earlier, there’s no big plan to like avoid playing you, things just happened that way. I don’t like excuses either, if I get schooled tomorrow, so be it. I think last time we had a SF-related hangout together was Halloween, and I left early because I had to drive the wife somewhere.
Now that I think about it, it’s been a good while since I’ve played any of the regulars at fight night, except for Squabb and Eraser at Squabb’s place. I don’t normally play much at Hastings because I want the new guys to play and I don’t want to hog consoles, especially say when Cylus is in town and we have peeps trying to train with him.
Anyway, I look forward to tomorrow, I’ll try to make it a good match.
I want SCV to be great. I want it to be so amazing that I can forget any other fighting game ever made. The only way they can do this is if they fix the netcode and reconsider the direction the series has gone in lately.
You know why Soul Calibur sucks? Because I’ve played the Soul series since Soul Edge in 1996 and rarely lost (if ever) for every arcade release and placed highly in every single tournament for the game that I’ve ever entered and I STILL do not know what the hell I’m doing.
That and I miss my dancer fro SC3 and Namco didn’t bring back the archetype for 4. Still miffed about that.
Also, Mass Effect 2 DLC is on sale today. I got Kasumi, Shadow Broker, and Overlord for just 600 MSP total. I’ve been waiting on this sale all year. NOW I’m gonna finish the game.
Maybe the code in general will get a major overhaul. I really liked 4, but my dear SC community decided to ban a character far too late. Though, at least they did it, or certain areas (PA/NJ/NY) wouldn’t have kept playing this long. Yes, they still play, and I love them. Haha. I have no doubt Tira will be in it. A lot of people love Hwang, so maybe they’ll… un-deadify him. xD
I wouldn’t say it sucks for that very reason, unless you beat the fuck out of the better SC players. o.O Like KDZ, Mick, Linkrkc, etc…
That and… Well SC4 didn’t have an arcade reason so obviously that’s not counted. ^-^ Main thing, I suppose is that… people in the area have hated the past two games, because “nothing compares to SC2” (at least it’s what I’ve heard from everyone I talk to about it). While a great game, I think the only reason people are on its nuts is because it’s the most like Tekken? I’m just guessing since a LOT of people like Tekken here. That and I’ve heard that SC has no depth, which I disagree with.

Squab: Looks as if we have another fight to add to the card. It seems as if Bishop felt left out that he couldn’t get in on the challenges and decided to act out on facebook. So I called him slaw and he challenged me to a Balrog mirror. I know I would lose that so I said we should do a mirror with characters neither of us ever use. So put that challenge in my good sir. Characters TBD.
